Does it have "speed adjustment" like Vtech walker does? My older had Vtech and we were very satisfied with it.

It does not. The wheels also do not have any sort of grip like the VTech walker (sort of) does, so it will slide on hard flooring. It’s easy to add some liquid rubber from Home Depot if you need to.

Is this good for 18 month old?

yes! perfect for 18months old. my child is almost 2 and she still plays with it!

Does this work on tile floors

Yes! We have a combination of tile, hardwood & carpet, and it works just fine on each - even going back & forth from one to another.
