Good Quality, but Not Ideal for 1/4 Tablet
I use these size 5 empty capsules to give my cat his heart medicine. The capsules are great quality and easy to use, but they’re too small to fit a 1/4 tablet unless it’s crushed. If you don’t want to crush the tablet, I recommend getting size 4 capsules instead.

Missing capsules
I got sealed but missing capsules. You cannot complain or return. Not worth it

Helps with giving pets their medication
I use these to give my cat his medication. The size is small enough for a cat to swallow.

Great for Cat Medication
I use these gelatin capsules to put my cats' medications in. I cut the tablets using a pill cutter, and then put the slivers in the gel cap so the cats can eat it without tasting the medicine. I use a pile of both wet and dry treats on a silicone lick mat, to get the cat used to mixed textures. Then, they take their meds voluntarily. (I never mix their meds with food, because I don't want to turn them off their food.) These gel caps are a perfect size - nice and small - and they're a great value. I recommend them to my cat behavior clients all the time!

Highly recommend
This has become my “go to” place for capsules. They have the small size 5 that is hard to find. The capsules work really well and arrive timely. I use these for my cat’s arthritis pain medicine, which only comes in large capsules from the pharmacy, and his dosage is half of a large capsules, which would be too large for him to swallow. The Size 5 capsules are perfect.

These were exactly what I needed !
These were just what I needed to fill with a medication for our old mini poodle who refuses pills. If she spits these out, they are very visible on the carpeting due to the bright colors, and she generally swallows them as they seem to slip on down.

Got shorted 100 capsules.
I’m sure it was an oops. But there were only 400 capsules in the bag. I ordered a 500 count. Otherwise they seem fine.

Especially for PET / CAT Caregivers … size 4 & 5 comparison
See photos for visuals: (1) - size #5 is smaller than size #4; (2) - capsules are shown in their fully assembled smallest form, bagged caps are only loosely assembled; (3) - meds shown for comparison are a halved (& then positioned as whole) 5mg Prednisolone tablet and a human 100mg vitamin soft gel; (4) - due to pred. pill girth the #4 size is needed to encapsulate; (5) - the size #5 is definitely easier for a cat to swallow BUT most pill popper tools better hang onto the size #4 without needing help; (6) - help I use with great success is a small smear of butter (real butter) which serves three purposes: 1. helps hold capsule in place in popper, 2. helps lube capsule down throat - probably better than a bit of water or food due to how gel caps get sticky with only a small amount of liquid, the grease bypasses that stickiness, 3. tastes good so a poorly placed capsule still has a decent chance of going down.; (7) - getting both sizes #4 & #5 is probably not a bad idea if affordable but just #4 is probably easier if you aren’t wanting or planning to crush pills into powder. If that’s a plan or you definitely want the easiest to swallow then #5 is what you want; (8) - these are real gelatin protein capsules and will dissolve between 15-30 minutes and release their contents.; (9) - you don’t need any extra “tools” for filling & assembling these if you have average normal coordination with your hands and eyes; doing this is significantly much easier than for instance threading a needle; (10) - capsules aren’t fully assembled until the two halves “click” together and though they are together they can still be prised apart usually without breaking as needed; (11) - Getting highly visible capsules makes seeing &/or finding if a capsule actually went down the hatch or got spit back out. Buy colored caps rather than clear or white; (12) - yes, encapsulating tablets is far & away the best method for pilling a cat because it only takes one poor pilling episode where the full taste of a nasty tablet firmly lodges into your cat’s memory and every pilling attempt thereafter makes any difficulties you “thought” you had previously a walk in the park by comparison😩🤦
