I don't know! It probably works.
Here's what I do know:1) It is made of quality materials and has a heft that you might expect from something that's a step up from a plastic assembly.2) It fits correctly, both the mini-Toslink end and the standard-Toslink end.Here's what I don't know:1) How it sounds, I'm sure it sounds well but I can know know that.Problem:1) It falls of out my DAC's standard-Toslink port. It does not mate well to my device. I have a small DAC, a SMSL 100 in fact. Quite a nice little box. And I think that's the problem. If the standard-Toslink end was connected to a AVR or a stereo amplifier, I'm pretty sure it would stay put, and that would be that. The mini-Toslink end is fine.Solution:1) I will have to buy a cheaper cable, probably made of plastic-jacketed cable; so it will lighter and most likely mate well.
