When Your Dishwasher is Leaking from the Bottom, You Probably Need This
I used this product (https://amzn.to/3tnX8ob) to fix the leak under my dishwasher. Gasket Replacement Fit For Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Maytag.(Replacement Part For WPW10195677/W10195677)) to replace cam motor shaft seal on Kenmore Elite Dishwasher (665.12773K310) The seal fit perfectly, however, here's a little context that may be a benefit to you. I purchased a Kenmore Elite Dishwasher (665.12773K310) several years ago and it has been doing a so-so job but that's another story. About 3 years after my purchase, the dishwasher started to leak and I called in a dishwasher repair company to look at my unit. The repair company changed out the bottom assembly of the dishwasher and told me a seal had gone bad. The repair was quite costly. Apparently, the dishwasher had been leaking for quite some time and what clued me in to the leak was the hardwood flooring adjacent to the dishwasher started to warp. The machine started to leak again about 3 years later and I quickly knew it because I had installed a plastic dishwasher pan and water leak detector alarm under the dishwasher after the first leak was repaired. A pan like this (https://amzn.to/46FrRuZ) and an alarm like this (https://amzn.to/3rOlLtu) should work fine in providing you with some early warning of a dishwasher leak and I think anyone who owns a dishwasher should install something like these items for peace of mind. With this second leak occurrence, I did my own troubleshooting and determined the cause was the cam motor shaft seal at the bottom of the dishwasher. I purchased a similar part on Amazon and it had worked well to to stop the leak. Guess what, it's been three years and I have another leak ... this was the third occurrence and so I purchased this seal, installed it and again my leak has stopped. Since this item comes in a two pack, if I still have the dishwasher in three years and it leaks again, I'll have a spare seal that's ready to go. The change out of the seal is quite simple, but you will likely have to remove the diverter valve motor and gently push the seal out from the bottom of the dishwasher using a blunt tool like this (https://amzn.to/3FaoHnu). You'll need to put the seal back in making sure the seal orientation (top and bottom) is the same as the seal you are taking out. I found that you have to reinstall the diverter motor first and then install the seal by sliding the seal over the diverter motor shaft. The seal fails after a certain amount of use because the shaft wears away the portion of the seal that the shaft is in contact with. In my case, with our normal daily use, the seal fails every 3 years or so. For installation assistance you can search the internet for: "How To: LG/Kenmore Cam Motor Shaft Seal 3920ED4009B" or "Replacing the Diverter Motor on a Dishwasher" and you'll find a couple of video tutorials that will show you how to change the seal.

Leak-free after a little troubleshooting
Unfortunately it took some hardwood flooring damage to bring attention to the dishwasher leak :-( At first I thought the leak was the diverter motor but after just a little research, realized it was probably this grommet. On my dishwasher, the grommet is accessible from the interior of the appliance. In my process I ended up pulling the dishwasher out completely and turning it on its side to get the old grommet out (pushed from the outside bottom of the dishwasher) but looking back, that wasn't necessary. I probably could've done the whole thing from the inside of the appliance without having to remove the diverter motor. I read in a few places that maybe the leak came from the grommet being installed backwards from the factory, that is with the spring facing the inside of the appliance, being exposed to the wash cycles. That appealed to my intuition so I initially installed the replacement grommet with the "flat" side facing towards the inside of the appliance (and therefore protecting the seal spring). But that leaked right away. So I believe the way it came from the factory is correct, with the spring facing the inside of the appliance (that's probably why it's made from stainless steel). The new grommet leaked again, after I turned it around. I removed it again, "greased" it with a tiny bit of dish soap, re-installed it and it has been bone dry ever since. It's possible the leak came from residual water in the diverter motor. Or the application of dish soap may have aided in the proper seating of the grommet. This replacement grommet appears larger than the original in several aspects (see photos), but I attribute that to the original grommet wearing down over time, as I expect this replacement will do also.

Too small for Whirlpool
This does not fit Whirlpool WDT920SADH2. The gasket is too small, and you can tell the moment you install it that it is fits too loose. Leaked worse than the grommet it was replacing. Also did not include the spring inside!

Fits but doesn't stop leak
*** These do not work for KitchenAid KDTE334GPS0*** They are taller than the original. It will go in, reduce the leak, but not fix the problem. Also the stainless steel spring was not included in either of the 2 grommets that are in the pack as the description states. My original didn't have the spring so I figured it wasn't a big deal. The original is on the left in the picture. I would suggest you measure the height of your original and compare it to this product before purchasing. Update: The seller reached out to me and offered a full refund without returning the product. Thank You for backing your product.

Inexpensive fix for leaking KitchenAid dishwasher!
This inexpensive fix ($5 grommet) which was fairly easy to install (lots of instructional You Tube vids out there) saved me from calling an appliance repair person or replacing dishwasher. If your dishwasher is leaking from the bottom like mine was- a common cause seems to be the diverter valve seal.
