Can i purchase the block separately? We ordered 2 sets of the knives directly from Miracle Bladeand never got the blocks to go with them.

We are extremely satisfied with our blades. I am not sure if they are new or old design. I would purchase them again.

Are the "slicer" knives the same as bread knives?

YES, the slicer knives could slice bread. I am very pleased with these knives. They are very very sharp.

How long is the blade on the carving knife? Not with the handle. Just blade?

The problem is they rust in one day. Save your money.
