My cat transitioned to the new formula very well and seems to like the taste.

I recently adopted a 12 year old cat. I tried many different cat foods! If you have a finicky eater, your cat will love this Royal Canin® aging 12+ I called the company and optimum nutrients also not to high in phosphorous, salt, and its very good natural food cats need! Your cat will be happy, its a bit expensive but way worth it. Get the 5.1OZ make sure its the LOAF IN SAUCE not the thin slices.

Expensive wet cat food, but my 15 year old cat loves it and will eat the entire can in one sitting. She lost a lot of weight this winter and I've had her to the vet to be sure she is healthy and her teeth are good. Everything checked out fine. I've noticed she has put on a little weight and her coat and eyes are shiny again since eating the Royal Canin.

We have a very elderly cat that will soon be 20 years old and recently has started showing his age. He still eats well, but had been losing weight regardless. He's otherwise quite healthy and is routinely de-wormed. Having read so many glowing reviews of this cat food, I thought I would give it a try for our ol' guy. Sure enough, it is helping him substantially! As noted by some other reviewers, he wasn't crazy about it initially, but I kept offering it. Now he's up to a half can every day, asking for it often during the day. I have to feed it to him separately because our other three cats don't need it and due to the horrendous cost, I am careful to make sure he's the only one that gets to eat it. I wish the cans were smaller because I have to refrigerate the half can her day he can't finish and apparently it's not as tasty when chilled. If the cans were smaller and the price were more reasonable, it would be an easy five stars. Nonetheless, if you have a senior cat showing its age, give this a try. It's definitely helping ours.

When my elderly kitty lost interest in eating I tried a bunch of different options and she ended up loving this. She has passed now but she got a few good years on this food.

My 17 year old buddy is slowing down. As he becomes more sedentary and he loses muscle, he's lost weight. It was rapid enough that the vet was sure there were problems and then was quite suprised when his blood tests came back with no sign of a problem. The real problem is that he became a licker and not an eater....until I bought this food. It is kind of pricey, but it is the only food he's tried where he eats the whole portion instead of just licking the juice. He loves this stuff. Occationally I'll try some other brand and he's back to just licking the juice. The best part is that he's put on weight and seems happy.

My cat loves this food. She is 12 and I watch her diet carefully.
