Coming from a brand like L’Oreal I thought this would help remove some of the orange tones and brassiness my blonde highlights had I followed the directions to the T rinsed it out, and immediately knew that my hair was darker, much darker almost like a dark brown on top of that to make things worse there was a reddish tint to it Of course I was devastated it did the opposite of what I wanted. I wanted to make my blonde hair brighter that’s orange not brown. I had had a horrible Salon experience a few years ago and I remembered that I had to act quickly. I’ve been jumped on the computer for an hour doing research and realize that this is a toner and that I had to get it out of my hair, so then went into washing my hair clarifying shampoos Dawn dishwashing soap, head and shoulders even mixing baking soda with shampoo not to mention now that my hair is damaged from all of this over washing and I still don’t have my original blonde hair color that I had before I used a product terrible. Terrible terrible what a nightmare awful experience . I am still trying to find a solution, but may have to end up going to the salon. I’m paying a lot of money to fix my hair. Do not recommend this product to anyone Worst thing as they don’t even let your return the product so you’re stuck with it and you pay to have damage hair

Long story short, my dirty blonde hair has gotten darker over the past few years. I tried to live with it, but it was too blah. So I got the Loreal Superior Preference Light Ash Blonde to just brighten it up a bit. It did lighten and brighten, but it definitely did not have enough ash so I was left a bit yellow and slightly orange in areas. Purple shampoo/conditioner didn't seem to do anything. So I got this Feria toner and OMG! One application, 10 minutes, and I have the perfect ashiness and the yellow and orange are gone! I am definitely keeping this stuff around! Feria for the win! Oh, and my hair feels amazingly soft even after these two processes. Gonna be my go to combo from now on!

I used this after bleaching my hair, started with dark blonde, bleached to a light blonde and then used this and i honestly couldn't tell that it did much if anything. Ended up getting hair dye.

Love my results. I didn’t do the full 10 minutes and wish I would’ve. Either way my brown is no longer brassy and red. On top of that, it feels softer and healthier.

I was excited to try this product, especially because of the brand and it’s something I can’t find in any local stores. It made my hair very soft, but it did not tone as much as I would have liked it to tone the warmth out of my hair. I use the brunette toner and again it worked a little bit and it definitely conditioned my hair— but it could’ve done a better job in reducing the red tones overall. It did an OK job and maybe it needs another round in a few weeks but given the price point, I’m not sure if I would purchase it again.

Amazing toner, very similar to T18 from Sally's beauty supply! Neutralized all of the brass in my hair after bleaching. Came out a beautiful platinum blonde!

Don’t buy it, it doesn’t work at all

Took the risk of using this toner despite all the negative reviews. Clearly, some people cannot read instructions and refuse to actually take extra caution on how the toner works. It is not dye nor is it a bleaching kit. If left on for too long (ie. exceeding 15 minutes), the toner WILL turn a greyish purple and it WILL make the blonde more grey. With that said, this toner took out the most obnoxious orange brassy tones out of my hair and gave it a nice ash blonde. Waited over 3 days to use the toner AFTER bleaching my hair. It's best to wait so your hair and scalp isn't shocked with all these boxed chemicals. I've had ash blonde before so I already knew what to look for. What helped a lot was using a purple conditioner after washing out the toner and leaving that on for 5 min (as per instructions on the bottle) before rinsing completely. Worked just fine for me!

Brass Banisher was the best product but it was discontinued. I tried this - Pearl Blonde Power Toner - to get rid of orangey yellow tones in my hair after (regrettably) doing an at home colour instead of the salon. It worked. The brassiness has been completely eliminated.
