However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they're pretty sturdy. The aluminum they're made of feels pretty thick and slots in tightly (good tolerances). These are 4-piece paddles, so they won't be as rigid as 2-piece or 1-piece, but it's not bad at all. I'm happy with them, especially for the price. Great paddle for my Advanced Elements inflatable Kayak
Great size and a great paddle. It comes apart and fits inside the bag with my Advanced Elements kayak. Makes it much easier when you take the kayak on a trip!

Not the best
As someone else has stated. There seems to be quite a bit of play/movement between the joints. My other advanced paddles (black coloured ones) do not suffer from this.
