brief, succinct, to the point, every single line and word full of wisdom from beginning to end. A wisdom full of love and inspiration. A must read.

As a member of SRF I am biased, BUT this book is devoid of dogma. It helps you to face the many difficult problems of humankind. It's not a book that you read from beginning to end (of course, you can if you want to); rather it is a reference book where you look up what is troubling you & find help for possible solutions. If you believe in a Higher Spirit this is an excellent book to keep by your side.

Indeed a very useful book to help a person in facing day to day problems peacefully it helps to understand life , people,how meditation and changing our thoughts can help us be better and help the others to realise all these things.thanks

This was the first book that I read of Yogananda's and to this day I still recall how I was spellbound, enraptured and enriveted on reading. Ever since then, Yogananda, my divine Guru, has guided my life, doubtless more than I can know.

A truly inspirational book that provides invaluable spiritual insights for the reader to guide them in finding the correct path when dealing with life's difficulties. Written with a loving kindness throughout by Paramahansa Yogananda, in having the best interests of the reader always so genuinely and fully at heart. It is wonderful that the Self Realisation Fellowship (SRF) have now made this book available as a Kindle version whereby a further wider audience may now discover and more readily benefit from the eternal wisdom that permeates these writings. The further additions provided to the Kindle version by SRF, importantly positively enhance what was originally already an excellent paperback version book. It is very clearly written in a most accessible way throughout and it comes from one of the 20th Century's most important Teachers..

Neben der Autobiographie eines Yogis mein Lieblingsbuch von ihm mit wundervollen Affirmationen zum meditieren und einem wichtigem einleitendem Teil wie man Kontakt zum hoeheren Selbst im Gebet oder Meditation herstellt. Die mich am meisten ansprechenden Affirmationen probierte ich aus und wurde sofort belohnt...ich fuehlte mich den ganzen Tag in Licht gehuellt. Ich liebe dieses Buch. One of my favorite books is the autobiography of a yogi from Yogananda- but this is as wonderfull because it contains lots of affirmations to meditate and a very important part in the beginning how you can get a connection to your higher self with prayers or meditations. I tried some of the affirmations what i liked most out- and i felt the whole day light rounding me- i love this book and i recommend it, if you are looking for affirmations to meditate, where you get a result very quick.
