Detangling & Shine Spray

I am a new Doodle mama, and this was one of the very first products I bought before bringing home my mini Australian Labradoodle, Molly. This spray smells lovely and helps to detangle my girl’s curls!! She isn’t crazy about the spritzing, but she tolerates it well. It has proven very helpful in keeping her hair healthy and manageable between grooming appointments. The scent is better than most products I’ve looked at, which tend to lean tropical for some reason. This spray has a light, refreshing scent that I would describe as more floral than tropical, which I personally prefer. I wish the scent lingered longer, but it’s nice while we brush & comb Molly’s coat. I think this bottle will likely last quite a while, which makes it a good value. A few light sprays is sufficient for my small dog.

Written by account holders wife - I have a poodle - chances are if you are reading this review you do too and you are dealing with stubborn mats that even with the best grooming happen especially on the ears or tail. I broke my dominant wrist, arm, and hand and was unable to properly groom him for 3 months or drive so you can just imagine how bad is fur was once I got my brace off and was even close to being able to try to use my hand and wrist. The razor or cutting his hair wasn’t an option as his hair was that bad and I could not yet do that ad I didn’t have the function yet and still wasn’t able to drive so this product was a handful of things I ordered but one of the first things I tried since I have used this line of products on my own hair and know how great they are. If you have read my reviews before I am very honest as I depend on reviews for my own purchases. 1) It worked - it really did! I was honestly hopeless on thinking I could actually get them out and I was sure he was going to have to go some place to have them cut out and be groomed which was going to be traumatic for him as I have always groomed him since I am highly allergic to non hypoallergenic dogs and most perfumes so groomers, pet smart, and even the vet are asthmatic for me. But I spray it on - I rubbed it in with my hands like I was petting him - getting it deep and I let it sit - then I started brushing him and the brush started to slowly ease right through! 2) The product is not watery to me it’s oily but that’s what makes it work. 3) The bottle size is the size as stated- and the price is on point if not lower imo as you would spend in store. This is high end hair products. 4) The ingredients smell great, work great, made his fur easy to brush and shiny. This product really saved my fur baby from getting shaved down. 5) I’m sticking with this product now just because as poodles have super sensitive skin and this doesn’t bother him and it doesn’t bother my asthma and it smells great and works great. This works!! I usually use a dematting comb alone but this just makes it way easier. Best way to get after knots and mats is to do a few each day and only when you have time and patience! This spray just made the hair slide right through with the mat comb much easier. I could almost pull a few out with my fingers. Just do a section at a time. Spray and let it wet the fur completely for several minutes then work on each section. I’m happy with my purchase and its smells so good. I have a wheaten terrier with long hair, not shaved or cut short. Groomed every 6 weeks at a groomer. I’ll keep this on hand to use when needed.

Great smell

I was waiting to write my review after I used this product a few times. This product works, I love it! We have a 5# Pomchi, she has long hair on her back legs and tail. I use this product with the BioSilk conditioner and have no trouble combing through her fur and she smells great! Her coat is nice and shiny. For shampoo we use Johnson & Johnson’s detangling. This is what works for us. The cost is acceptable, not too high.

This doggy detangling solution really works. Been using it for over 2 years now n it makes his hair so soft. I'm never without it. Definitely recommend.

Tried this stuff for the first time today. I can't say how effective it is (I'll need to use it for a bit to see if it makes Mochi's fur softer/shinier), but I will say that it smells HORRIBLE. It's like straight up hairspray. Not the nice scented stuff, just pure chemicals. It set off my asthma, and now I feel bad for Mochi because she has to walk around in a cloud of hairspray-scented evil until it fades. She can't just get up and leave the stink behind, you know? Anyway, even if the spray does what it says it will, I might toss it. Definitely won't be buying it again unless the scent changes. 😅

Wish I could give 10 stars 🌟 this detangler is an absolute game changer!!! I have a 3 year old Maltese rescue and I was really struggling with her being comfortable while being brushed because she has sensitive skin. When I tell you the brush just slides through I mean it. The first time using this the mats just came out so easy and she didn't flinch once! I love how good it smells too! No wet dog smell or anything like you might expect after wetting her fur, nope she just smells like a little flower 😉 I have already recommended it to 2 people and I just got it today! I will definitely be a long time biosilk buyer! The best part is you don't have to use a lot so this bottle should last at least a month maybe more!!!
