Works great
I am sharing my experience with these moth traps. I wasn’t sure how good they would work because I have never tried this brand before. I had seen a couple of moths prior to purchasing the traps. When I received the traps I proceeded to open the package and follow directions. I had just torn the package open and immediately there was a moth flying around me. Then another and a third. I had no idea there were that many moths in my house.!!! In the first 5 minutes I had caught 7 moths… Wow!!!These traps work great…I highly recommend this product.

easy to set up & highly effective in combating pantry moth infestation
This is 1 of the best purchases I have made. Set up is uncomplicated, sets up in seconds & begins working immediately. Box indicates it does not work on clothes moths. It is doing an outstanding job catching the pantry moths in my home & I only wish I had tried this product in prior years when dealing with moth infestation. It is an easy, affordable fix to an annoying problem. I will be repurchasing this product & highly recommend this product for anyone dealing with this type of moth issue.

Great moth catcher!
This moth catcher is amazing! In one week I caught over 50 moths in one trap. I wish I could find something that I could kill them all and be done with this. It all happened because I had a 40# bird seed bag in the garage too long that it created moths. I usually freeze the bird seed in ziplocks and then it’s fine. This will never happen again.

My one star was premature
My earlier review trashing this product was premature. I was getting no results for about a week and then, boom, the trap started filling up with moths. Apparently it takes a while for the pheremone to get out into the air. Anyway, these things seem to work well and they're much more economical than what our local hardware store sells.

Great product
These work! I can't believe how well. We had some of these critters take over. Horrible. I had to throw away tons of stuff. Clean everything and now everything is locked up like fort Knox. These only attract the males so you are cutting the population down by killing them before they can reproduce. Read everything you can about these critters to make your war against them productive.

Will attract and get rid of moths you didn't know you had
The minute I opened the box, moths started swarming in and quickly went into the trap

Good product
I’ll get right to the point—MaxGuard Pantry Moth Traps do what they are advertised to do: trap and kill pantry moths (the ones that get trapped). The traps are very sticky—I have long hair, so…yeah. Otherwise they are safe and easy to set up and last for a few months or until they get full. I can’t attest to whether or not they attract the male moths (how can I tell?). They haven’t eliminated the problem by stopping the breeding cycle, so I’m guessing the traps don’t catch ALL the males. The traps do, however, help. My cautionary tale: I have a pantry moth problem—obviously. The nasty beasties hitched a ride in a bag of dry dog food a couple of years ago and have been unwelcome house guests since. Once I identified what they were, I ordered 2 brands of traps, this brand being one. Both worked to cut down on the growing population, but neither eliminated them. I slightly favored the other brand, but it may have been a location issue. It seemed to catch more moths, although it involved an extra step to set up—applying a tablet to the sticky inner surface to supposedly attract them. Time came to reorder and the other brand had risen in price disproportionately to its value so I ordered more of the MaxGuard brand (and have since continued to order it). As I mentioned before, it doesn’t eliminate the problem, but it does help keep it under control. They are worse in the summer during which time I have found their larva in some newly purchased items, like grain products. I presently have hopes for a total wipe-out which will take an intensified assault. I plan to initiate one this fall by emptying my pantry, throwing out anything that isn’t in jars or bottles or cans, spraying (works on the larva), zapping, scrubbing, and bombing. I chose to put it off because I had an elderly dog and cat and also because I simply have not had the time I know it will take to do a thorough purge. After that, I will continue to put out one or two MaxGuard traps in strategic spots to monitor—just in case I buy something with a stowaway. Even though I now transfer all the products I know they like to infest into well-sealed canisters, I have occasionally found larva attached to cans. I’ve also learned that the larvae can chew their way into zippered plastic bags! Life in central Texas—one insect after another. I hope this helps some of you who have similar uninvited guests.

Works like many others have.
These attracted and killed a dozen or so pantry moths that get into my bird seed. I buy different brands of these and all of them seem to work the same. Look for them at a farmers coop if you have one. They are usually cheaper.

Efectivas
