Umbra Flip Coat Rack, Wall Mounted 5-Hook Space Saving, Walnut/Black

I recently purchased the Umbra Flip Wall-Mounted Coat Rack Rail, and I couldn't be more pleased with my choice! This coat rack is not only incredibly functional but also adds a stylish touch to my entryway. The design is sleek and modern, fitting seamlessly with my decor. I love how the flip-down hooks are both practical and space-saving. They are easy to use and can hold a decent amount of weight, making them perfect for storing coats, bags, and even scarves. When not in use, the hooks fold up neatly, keeping my space looking tidy. Installation was straightforward; I had it up in no time, thanks to the clear instructions provided. The quality of the materials is impressive, and it feels sturdy and durable. If you're looking for a coat rack that combines style, functionality, and space efficiency, I highly recommend the Umbra Flip Wall-Mounted Coat Rack Rail. It has transformed my entryway, and I receive compliments from guests all the time!

There is an art to functionality that transcends mere practicality, and one seldom finds it among the pedestrian clatter of modern consumer goods. Yet, amidst the vulgarities of banal coat hooks, the Umbra Flip Wall-Mounted Coat Rack rises like a paragon of aesthetic brilliance, refined and unapologetic in its splendor. A decadent addition to my dwelling, this design is neither ostentatious nor invisible—it whispers of luxury and space-saving ingenuity. Its retractable hooks, five in total, seem to pirouette elegantly into their resting grooves as if each were a dancer concluding the final movement of a ballet. When summoned, they spring forth with the assurance of a loyal butler, ready to hold jackets, hats, or even a velvet smoking robe as though such tasks were the highest calling. Beyond mere utility, the Umbra Flip coat rack offers an understated charm; its white-nickel finish breathes sophistication into the humblest of walls. Mounted upon its rightful throne behind doors and in entryways, it transforms these banal spaces into sanctuaries of order and elegance. Why should a coat rack not aspire to art? For in moments when the hooks fold away, this creation masquerades as abstract wall decor—whimsical yet purposeful. So, I cherish the contrivance not for what it holds but for how it holds itself. It stands in defiance of clutter and chaos, a guardian against entropy and ennui. I may forget my keys or umbrella upon its brilliant hooks, but I shan't forget how it elevates the mundane into the realm of poetry. Umbra, dear reader, has achieved the impossible: to design a coat rack so enchanting, one would hang up one's troubles merely for the pleasure of its company.

So attractive with fold up hooks that give it a clean look when not in use. Made strong and has received many compliments on my wall. Highly recommend.

It installed this behind the door in our bathroom on the wall. It’s a perfect place to hang towels to dry out of the way very attractive as well.

I really like the overall design and the flip-down hooks are a great idea, but I was a little disappointed with the finish in person. I didn’t realize the gold-colored portions were plastic, which made it feel less substantial than I expected. The hooks are not meant for serious weight. The color was also noticeably lighter in person than it appeared online. It’s still attractive and functional, and I like how streamlined it looks when the hooks are folded up. I just wish the materials and color had matched what I was expecting a little better.

This is Great! It folds flat against wall when not in use. When you use it the hooks are sturdy and easy to use. And, it looks good too.

I own 5 of these and am about to purchase 3 more. They are incredibly sturdy, look great, and are easy to install. We have them in bedrooms, bathrooms, and our mudroom. Used for hanging hats, keys, towels, and clothing.

This has held up really well through the wear and tear of my children pulling on it to get their coats off of the hook. The wall attachment was easy and it looks really nice in our entryway.

Very good quality product

For something so...boring? as a wall hook, i get so many compliments on this. It is pretty cool. When the hooks fold up they fit so neatly in the panel. A little more expensive than some other wall hooks probably but they really do look great. They hold my work bag which is pretty heavy so they must be strong too, just make sure you attach it to a wall stud if you're going to be hanging heavy stuff on it.
