Perfect for money paid
I recently bought the R2000DB as an upgrade to my previous 70w speakers. Overall I am quite happy. The sound quality is improved both in low and higher volume. There's a "dynamic" setting that does make a difference, sounds crystal clear. Total weight is around 10 kg but their size is "bookshelf". Could be better when it comes to bass and would like a loudness option. Incompatible witn ConnecX, but that's not an issue really. I agree with other comments that the remote control is an issue. It's tiny and can easily be misplaced. Lack to set bass or treble (only possible on the back of the active speaker). I would recommend it, but please note there are newer versions of Edifier speakers, so check the price!

Fabulous sound
Upgraded from Edifier RB1200RB’S and the sound is immense. Deep base clear mid. Added to an excellent turntable. Bluetooth connection simple and straight forward to pair and again the sound is immense for the size and cost. They really suit the acoustics of the room they’re in. 😍

Very Good speakers for the price
I have a need for good sound without being overly fussy in how they're setup. The speakers themselves I have the sound Bass and treble set to medium and the volume to high. I then control it from Windows using Nahimic to adjust tone. These speakers remember their volume after all power is cut despite the rotary knob being a continual one. The only downside is you can only pair the device with two blu-tooth devices at any one time, so I have my phone and second computer. As far as I know there is no way to unpair them apart from powering down and waiting for the in-built memory to forget the pairing. They are nice and solid and have different lights for input, so Red is optical, Blue is Blu tooth and Green is input which means at a glance you can see what the settings are. There are two sets of co axial inputs, so effectively you can have five input sources at the same time. Sound wise it is worth remembering that output is only as good as input, i.e. make sure you have a good source or high quality files and these won't disappoint.

Great Speakers at a Great Price
I did a fair amount of searching before finally deciding on these Edifiers. I’m glad I went for the R2000DB simply because you can have one sound source wired and the other wireless - I run my R2000DB’s through two different Apple Mac Computers, an M1 Mac Mini and a 2008 Mac Pro, sound quality from both devices is excellent. There is plenty of volume and the bass is more than adequate. I don’t use the remote as I have no need for it. Would I recommend these Edifier Speakers - yes, for sure. I went for the wood grained pair over the Piano Black. I purchased mine when there was a Limited Time deal on, I paid £180 - I simply couldn’t find anything better at that price point.

Adding oomph to a digital piano
I wanted something better than the inbuilt speakers on a digital piano, which though very good, were not quite loud enough. Considered studio monitors but they would either be too high for a piano if placed level with ears or at the wrong angle if placed lower, but these are angled up. If the volume is turned up some hiss comes through, but reading up on it I find that's to be expected for this sort of product. I found a volume where the sound is comparable to a real piano but the hiss is barely only just barely audible from playing position.

Excellent quility
I was very lucky that I managed to purchase this item when it was discounted down to £120 (only for the wood colour), the next day the price was back up, so very pleased with that. When I recieved the item it greatly exeeded my expectations, I was not expecting something as solidly made, it was also very east to set up, I added my CD player via optical, and my turntable as a Line in, I also used it via my laptop and phone streaming spotify and watching films, in all cases it was always easy to connect and the sound far exeeded my expections of speakers in this price range, I am very happy with this product and enjoying listening to music once again via turntable.

Fantastic sound, great options for connectivity.
Bought these speakers based on positive reviews, I am mightily impressed with the sound quality and the connectivity options. Obviously I haven't pumped them up yet, because I want to break them in first, but they sound fantastic out of the box. I would highly recommend these to anyone. Amazing and five stars well deserved.
