You would be better off buying a new
This grease may be OK but it comes in a package with tiny amount. It is intended to be used to lubricate a MOEN cartridge, such as 1225, which has become stiff with use.You would be better off buying a new, pre-lubricated cartridge for $15 instead of paying $7+ for a one application grease pack.

Included with Moen Caldwell CA87888. I'll have to read the instructions later to see if I need to apply it to the new faucet.
