I have a few of these for checking accuracy, Even though I have a few different brands they are all the exact same molded design. I found this one to be about .5 high on the pH levels compared to the other ones, even after calibration.

... cannot re-calibrate accurately despite having carefully followed the instructions for using the buffer solution.

This was $15 VERY well spent. Had been struggling with balancing my hot tub water for year using test strips. Had constant issues with cloudy, discolored and sometimes funky smelling water. Wasted hundreds of dollars trying to treat the water with various different product combinations. An accurate pH reading has made a world of difference. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend. Additionally, I contacted the seller inquiring about more calibration medium, though I haven't yet used the packets which were included, as the tester came pre-calibrated. The seller promptly responded with a couple links to sellers of the medium. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.
