This is high quality dog food. My pup is healthy and active. I believe it is from this diet than keeps him strong.

Great option for a not too fishy dog food. My pet has gotten sick on all chicken based food for years. She has not been sick once on this!

love this for my dogs, the quality of open farm is just top tier

Switched to this brand after my local store ran out of our usual kibble. We have a Frenchie who has a delicate stomach and a lot of allergies and he has tolerated this kibble really well and will finish his meal without hesitation. It's a bit pricey but he has been doing so well on it I plan on sticking with it from now on. I'm pretty particular with what ingredients he injests and this food has all the natural and grain free things I wanted.

The puppy came with Open Farm Whitefish & Ancient Grain kibble in tow, so we ordered more - this is the second bag - we would have gotten a mid sized bag, but it wasn't in stock. The ingredients seem good, food smells fresh though a bit fishy to the humans, and it is important to me that it includes grains and not peas or chickpeas. By comparison, it is pricier than other brands with similar ingredients and ancient grains. Eventually, we may end up mixing the two. Her coat seems to be fairly sleek even with puppy fuzz fur.

My frenchie loves it

My German Shepherd really liked this dog food. But I think it’s really over priced. If it was a lower price point I’d buy it monthly. But can’t afford it for what it is now. No offensive smell, perfect size Lucy liked. My dog is Lucy. Value for money is to much. Make bag bigger or drop price.

We fed this food to our 65lb pitbull for over a year and a half, but I don’t know if something changed with the recipe or we started getting bad batches. The 2nd to last bag our dog started developing gas and mushy poops which then evolved into diarrhea and vomiting. We moved to chicken and rice until her stomach got better, but then we started to mix in the whitefish kibble again gradually (from a brand new bag) and shortly after she started getting gas, mushy poops, and then evolved into vomiting and diarrhea again over a few days. We’ve since moved her back to the Purina Pro Plan sensitive stomach and she’s been doing well for the past couple weeks with no signs of gas so far. This food was good, but after some costly vet bills we probably won’t be going back to it.

I am sure this could fit some dogs but... My Boston Terrier became crazy with the Open Farm Wild Caught Salmon, he would devour the entire thing. His stool were very healthy. I changed to this bag because of the marketing I suppose : there is a frenchie on the bag, looks like my dog. However, now he is only eating when he is REALLY hungry and leaves some in the bowl. His stools are more liquid and become a mess in his hair... Looks like he is allergic to something in there, or there was a quality issue. I saw some similar reviews. Basically, I ordered some salmon again and I will probably give away this one. As a general rule tho, great product!
