Megachef Ceramic Infrared Cooktop

It's only been 1 day but I had a 29$ megachef dule burner that lasted 7 years as my primary source of cooking for a family of 3 that finally died on the big burner side, I saw this upgraded model and figured why not, same brand just fancy, when I finally got it, it was way bigger than expected. I could fit 2 big pots side by side with plenty of wiggle room. it heated half a gal of water to a full boil in just under 8 minutes, its a flat surface that makes it easy to clean and the handles on the sides stayed cool to the touch after 30 min of cook time, all in all I'm very happy so far, ill update if things change, crossing fingers that I can get at least a few years out of this bad boy

I read the reviews about this so I was kinda leary about it. Some reviews said it didn't heat up well. I already have a single burner it will not get hot enough to boil water. I have a old cooktop. Only 2 burners work. I don't want to get a new one till I remodel my kitchen. This thing is fantastic! I cook all the time. It heats up fast! It boils, Sears, anything you need it to do. I even kept the box to return it. I definitely won't be! Not sure why others had problems with it heating. Maybe it is their cookware? I only paid 20 dollars more than the other piece of crap one I have. Highly recommend.

I picked this cooktop because it had a lower watt demand than most of the others that were for sale. It works great. It is not fast but it does get the job done. I bought this after reading how bad gas stoves are for polluting the air inside our homes. The cooktop does stay hot for a few minutes, so I would not recommend for households with small children. The surface is glass. The glass cleans up easy. I did have a boil over with rice. The rice burned onto the glass. So it does look used because of the spill-over but functions as intended.

Worth the money. Heats up quickly. Easy to clean and it's nice to have the side handles.

Great countertop cooker. Easy to clean and looks great. We use it for our guests in the pool house.

This stove top is perfect. If you have a small space or even for travel, it will work great. I agree with previous reviewers that the buttons get hot, but it’s not to the point that it will burn you. I would use a kitchen mitten to turn the button if it bothers you. I think it’s a great item for the price.

Works as expected. Saved my butt for almost a year until I could afford to replace my stove
