Zinc Bar Soap, Olive Oil and Argan Oil 2% Pyrithione Zinc (ZnP) for All Skin Types Including Those With Acne, Psoriasis and Eczema, 3.25 oz

I never leave reviews for products but this product has become a holy grail of mine. I use it as a “shower lotion” rather than an actual soap to clean myself with. I scrub down with a different pure glycerin soap and then I apply this Noble Formula bar to my skin. My skin has never been softer, rough areas and callouses are significantly softened after a week of regular use. I apply aloe vera gel to my whole body after a shower to lock in the moisture it provides. If you’re someone who hates the greasy feeling of lotion but wants deeply moisturized skin, this soap in the shower + aloe vera gel or a gel based moisturizer that drys down after the shower is the absolute best. I use mine every other day in the shower and, since I’m using it as a shower lotion and not as my primary soap to clean myself with, it lasts awhile. For the results I see and the amount of uses I get out of one bar I feel it is worth the price. People hate that it gets goopy but its slimy texture is a testament to how moisturizing it is. The slimy texture happens because of the oils and oats in the soap getting wet. The oats and the zinc combined create a powerful calming effect while the oils moisturize the skin deeply. I have highly sensitive skin and suffer from body acne, cystic acne, and eczema breakouts. This soap clears it all thanks to the oat and zinc content. Personally I like the sliminess because this soap doesn’t lather and it feels like a lotion on the skin that is then easily washed off. This product might be better for some people’s skin than others but I think everyone can benefit from this product, as long as they don’t have allergies to the ingredients, as it is all very non-irritating.

I use this for acne. I use it less in the winter and mixed with my cetaphil cleanser or my skin gets too dry. I use it a few times a week in the summer.

For what is worth, it IS a good soap. It worked on my face especially because I have a mild rosacea with flaking and dryness. I figured since it has oatmeal (or little pieces of it) common sense would be if rubbing it across my face would feel like I am rubbing sandpaper on it. I did had that feeling in the beggining when I started using it, BUT I figured instead lather it up in my hands and just putting the foam on my face and it seemed to help with the roughness of the soap. Another point is that I used it for at least 2 weeks and the redness and bumps diminished quite significantly. Of course with the routine i.e. wash with soap (can rotate with other soaps, I used dove sensitive) add moisturizer, 2x a week with a matcha mask + if a medication (cream or lotion is used) and the symptoms were less. I do recommend the soap but it has to be with common sense, if the skin is irritated but still want to use it lather it up onto hands and use the foam to wash. I have to say the slimyness is because of the oatmeal so that did not bother as much only if you wet it alot of course it will get slimy. Other than that it is an ok soap to treat postular rosecea

It is clearing my face up!

I discovered this product over the summer, when my normally dry-sensitive skin went over the edge into a full-blown rosacea flare. For the unfamiliar, this means my face became inflamed, swollen and I had hot, dry very red painful cheeks. Very uncomfortable and unnerving! I made many changes to my skincare routine and diet which helped, but I just could not get the rosacea to go into remission. I noticed that my face felt a lot better when I applied my 20% zinc oxide sun block every day, and my research indicated that zinc is very healing for damaged skin, so I decided to try this bar. I am so glad I did! It did not miraculously heal my skin, but it did calm it down just enough that my skin would accept skincare products designed to repair the moisture barrier. Basically this cleansing bar turned my downward spiral into an upward spiral. Every day my skin healed a little more, which let me use more healing moisturizers and serums, which in turn helped my skin heal a little more... so and so forth. I still have rosacea, but I am getting very savvy about what sets off the negative cycle and how to stop it fast. This bar is a huge part of my recovery and maintenance routine - I use it every 3rd or 4th cleansing, depending on what's happening. I also bought a bar of this for my husband who's suffered with moderate-to-severe skin fungus all his adult life. Again, this bar doesn't get rid of the fungus, but it does seem to help keep it in check and heals the damage that the fungus causes. Wonderful product that is totally worth a try if you have frustrating, ongoing skin problems. Good luck!!

Small but mighty bar. Skin so soft also.

I looked long and hard, and searched far and wide for a soap that doesn't included coconut oil or shea butter (both too heavy for my skin), and found a gold mine with Noble. It's argan oil-based, which is much gentler on my skin. It has done a great job clearing up blemishes and hyperpigmentation. The soap can be very drying though--so after washing my face, I typically use witch hazel as a toner, then rosehip oil, or vitamin e oil mixed with tea tree oil, to moisturize.

I got this to treat facial dandruff I get in my mustache and beard. While it works fine as a soap it didn't do a thing for the dandruff. Wouldn't bother with it again.
