Likes: Safe to eat; doesn't hurt sensitive teeth; not messy
Dr. Brite Mint Natural Whitening Toothpaste with Activated Coconut Charcoal and Vitamin C (5 Oz) (Pack of 3) Received over 3 weeks ago on August 16, 2019, packaged well, and started using that day, alternating here and there with old toothpaste (Hello brand). The color of the paste is a beige color, which did throw me off initially but I ignored the “unconventional look.” It doesn’t foam like the typical big brand pastes (Colgate, Crest, etc). That didn’t bother me though. Actually makes less mess I think. I put the paste on my electric toothbrush and first wipe it on my teeth before turning on the toothbrush and beginning to brush. The taste is mild and pleasant. I like the fact it’s edible though I’ve not tried eating it. I’ve been trying to slowly switch out all our products with safer options, using EWG.org as a guide. Found Dr. Brite this way. My teeth feel like a good cleaning after using this. I have sensitive teeth and I don’t find any sensitivity with this paste. Other pastes actually cause pain sometimes as I place it on my teeth. The other brand of toothpaste we’ve been using is Hello toothpaste. We’ve tried the Sensitivity Relief Fluoride and Activated Charcoal Teeth Whitening Fluoride Free ones. The sensitivity paste was actually helping and I believe did whiten my teeth. Both my husband and I like it. We didn’t really notice much change in teeth color with the charcoal version but didn’t really use it that long. We hated the mess of the charcoal, black spots went everywhere on the counter and mirror while brushing and rinsing. Oddly, after years of using Hello sensitivity with good results, my teeth started to hurt when I placed the paste on them. A combination of the sensitivity and charcoal helped. (Plus it’s helping get rid of the leftover charcoal paste.) But I started to research different options. I like how Dr. Brite is giving me the activated charcoal benefits without the black mess. Not noticed a change in color of my teeth yet, but I am considering ordering more of their other products to test them out. I will also probably continue buying Dr. Brite and alternating with Hello Sensitivity. Overall, I like it, but haven’t used it long enough to see longterm results. Photos: - the color of Dr. Brite toothpaste - Hello’s newest bottle has a lid similar to Dr. Brite’s: flip top, but both Hello pastes make a huge mess of the lid. The toothpaste on the top of the lid strings down to the base as we open the lid. Dr. Brite’s isn’t as messy; I think due to being a thicker consistency. (Top to bottom: Dr. Brite, Hello Sensitivity, Hello Charcoal)

Highly recommend
Love this toothpaste! It took me a long time to find one with ingredients that I trust for myself during pregnancy as well as for my toddler. Taste is great, as well as consistency. Not gritty like many other natural toothpastes. I also love that they have non-mint options. We haven’t had a bad flavor yet!

Dr Brite Naturalsl Toothpaste and the Awesome Berrylicious Flavor !! :)
I have to say I'm becoming a fanatic about using all natural products because it's important to your health. So, I investigate products before buying. Before I bought Dr Brite toothpaste I looked at lots of reviews other than Amazon, and checked the EWG verified site. Dr Brite Toothpaste received a number 1 on all the ingredients. That's the best score you can find. The biggest decision was what flavor? I chose berrylicious and love it. It's not a strong taste, but a mild mixture of berries. The tube is pink flexible plastic that makes it easy to squeeze the toothpaste out, and says it's Vegan, Glutan free, Cruelty free (also important to me ), EWG verified, BPA fee, and Phthalate free. All ingredients are clearly listed on the back of the tube. They even ask to "Please recycle". This company is serious about their product being healthy for consumers and is environmentally friendly. Everyone needs to be concerned about products they use and make sure it's as natural an safe as possible. This toothpaste is as close to that as I can find. And it does a wonderful job when I brush my teeth, they're much whiter. I can't wait to try the other flavors. You also don't need to use a LOT of the toothpaste to get your teeth clean, that's another bonus!! :)

Expensive but worth it!
I bought this originally for a kid who was too young to not swallow fluoride toothpaste. I immediately loved how it wasn't bright white (after finding out that the ingredient that makes other toothpaste that color is toxic and potentially hazardous). The flavor is mildly sweet and fruity. It doesn't foam up as much as other toothpastes will which I kind of like. The biggest reason this is worth the money is because of the hydroxyapatite. That ingredient is amazing because it remineralizes teeth better than fluoride. I went down a rabbit hole of researching the ingredient and saw that it performs better than fluoride for cavity repair. Also, I had used Colgate sensitive toothpaste for years due to cold intolerance when chewing but didn't think it ever helped all that much. After using this for approximately six months, my sensitivity is improved so much that I can chew a cold grape from the fridge! That might not be a big deal for most people, but with my sensitive teeth I never thought I'd be able to do that again! So yes, the price is ridiculous for toothpaste, but this stuff is worth it. If you're worried about cavities or sensitivity or toxic ingredients, this is the toothpaste for you.
