I have had this device for a few months. I chose this one because it was highly rated by Consumer Reports. They probably didn't test it for months, just tested the quality of the coffee it makes. First of all, the ring that you have to put at the bottom of the inside piece is getting loose and several times it has come off and the coffee just falls into the jar. And the way to adjust the drip is very finicky. Sometimes it will be fine when I put it in the fridge in the evening, but when I got to get it the next morning, the drip has stopped so -- no coffee. Very aggravating. I don't see where I can purchase another ring, so this may be an $80 investment that was a waste after a few months.

This is a well designed unit. Like that the packaging is reusable as I take this to my vacation home. Makes good cold brew coffee.
