Value priced unit, can use with PATA interfaces when using the proper SATA/PATA converter boards
Resurrecting a Powermac G5 received a couple of weeks ago (mint condition, no issues with CAPs leaking) - the old DVD/CD drive had signs of failing (original, over 12 years old!), however, the price of a new PATA DVD/CD would cost more 7 times more than this unit. Had to buy a PATA to SATA converter (these things have gotten better over the years) to use the new unit. Works flawlessly in the G5 - reads, writes, etc. with no issues.

Ruidosa??? Tengo 42 años (bueno dentro de 4 días, je, je ,je) llevo metido en el tema de la informática desde niño y nunca he tenido una regrabadora mas silenciosa que esta. Supongo que todo depende del disco que le metas porque si es cierto que dependiendo del disco hará mas o menos ruido, pero esto me ha ocurrido con todas. A mi modo de ver es una grabadora buena, bonita y barata. Como tiene las tres "B" solo pudo darle las cinco estrellas. Tal vez debiera quitarla una por no incluir un cable SATA pero como esto ocurre con TODAS no puede ser una razón para hacerlo. Encantado con ella en velocidad de lectura, de grabación y con su nivel sonoro que a mi parecer es bajo.

Die Brenner sollten in einer Brennstation zur Erstellung von Kleinserien zum Einsatz kommen. Genau zwei Mal haben die Geräte funktioniert, danach ging nichts mehr. Nach umfangreichen Diagnosemaßnahmen bin ich eher zufällig auf eine Fehlerquelle gestoßen - das Cachingverhalten von Nero unter Windows 8.1 verträgt sich nicht ganz mit den Geräten und führt unter bestimmten Umständen (viele kleine Dateien auf einer SSD) dazu, dass das Programm mehrere Minuten nicht reagiert. Warum das mit DIESEn Brennern so ist und bei anderen Brennern nicht, bleibt mir ein Rätsel. Lösung: Eine Image-Datei erzeugen und die dann Brennen. Und schon tun die Dinger es einwandfrei in angemessener Geschwindigkeit. Fazit: Die Geräte funktionieren (jetzt^^), tun genau das, was sie sollen, sie tun es in angemessener Geschwindigkeit und akzeptabler Lautstärke. Ich bin zufrieden. (Und ich war schon so weit, die Geräte wieder zurück zu schicken...)

A very sturdy set of shelves, well made and look excellent. Bought for my sons new bedroom. He's 15 years old and wanted something that looked stylish to match the rest of his furniture (TV Stand and study desk). All his friends say 'wow' when they first enter his room. Worth every penny.

Ottimo amsterizzatore DVD-RW per rapporto qualità/prezzo. E' un bulk della Samsung (prodotto Samsung senza logo) che ha bisogno di pochi accorgimenti per essere collegato al PC Necessità di collegamento SATA (la vostra scheda madre deve avere i connettori SATA, che sono rossi: non va bene per le schede madri che funzinano con gli IDE), ma nella confezione manca il cavo sata che va da voi acquistato a parte. Ha anche bisogno di un'alimentazione SATA (ho cannibalizzato un vecchio PC usando un vecchio alimentatore senza uscita alimentazione SATA, ma ho risolto usando un "Adattatore di Alimentazione Molex a SATA"...cercatelo qui su amazon) PRO - costo basso - velocità in scrittura fino a 24x (io vado sul 4x e non ho mai avuto problemi) - ovviamente è sia lettore che masterizzatore sia CD che DVD/DVD Dual Layer CONTRO - no lightscribe - nella confezione c'è solo il lettore/masterizzatore, non c'è nè il cavo sata per il collegamento con la scheda madre, nè le viti per il fissaggio al case (se sostituite questo drive ad uno più vecchio, usate quelle viti) - un po' rumoroso
