DEWALT Tool Tote with Removable Power Tool Case, 24-Inch (DWST24070)

TL;DR It's a durable, spacious, convenient mid sized tool tote and great for the price. No complaints. I work in new construction as a plumber. I was tired of digging through my Husky tool backpack setup. I would have to unzip, dig through the bottom just to find my tape measure or bits or what have you. I looked around quite a bit for an open-faced style tray like this, but couldn't find anything suitable. My other challenge was getting it to fit inside my locking storage bin on the work truck so I could leave my things locked up at night instead of having to lug my tools home every night. This tote is durable, spacious and seems to be high quality. The bottom tote portion fits all my hand tools (quite a bit like hammer, levels, two tapes, 3 crimp tools, a battery charger, square and room for a good bit more). The top case portion holds my impact with a battery on it, a 5 amp battery, a Dewalt bit set case, and a single bay battery charger perfectly. The fact that it snaps to the top and disconnects with one hand makes it super convenient and a breeze to use. The handle is a little on the large side, but is very sturdy and sort of slides into a locked position while carrying it so you don't have to work about the tote spilling or tipping. If you're on the fence about this thing, I say just give it a try. I love it. Especially if you're in a trade where you have many tools to bring in and out of a job site everyday. So convenient and nice. Another plus is all my tools are Dewalt so it matches 😎.

I really like this tool box, fits a good amount of tools in between the removable top section and the bottom. Its also really easy to separate the two. I can't really make a comment towards the durability since I mainly use it to store my household tools, I'm not taking it to a jobsite.

Needed to store a bunch of tools we have laying around the house. It can store a good number of tools as long as it's not too bulky. The bottom compartment can store about 2 cordless drills or impact drivers. The toolbox itself is made out of plastic but seems to be sturdy enough to withstand a good amount of weight.

I love this thing, it's big and sturdy and not expensive. You should know though that it in no way nests with the T-STAK system, and it's got a big old yellow handle for the smaller compartment that sticks out. Not a square profile with that jutting out. HOWEVER: unlike one review I read, the compartments separate easily with the push of a button - I think the guy who was having problems was trying to pull it. Overall this is a sweet chunky toolbox.

Well made. Plenty of room for assorted tools. Solid latched and handle. Decent weight and very functional. Very satisfied.

Great quality as expected from Dewalt. I didnt realise in the pictures but the too half unclips and the bottom can be without a lid. Handle seems sturdy. I like the size. Loads of compartments on the top section. This is clearly going to last for many years!

This is an amazing toolbox. There are two main components, which can be separated and carried individually. This is important, because the toolbox is quite large and if you've got it full of stuff, it will be heavy - the ability to separate the two main compartments is important. There are lots of great little compartments, especially in the top piece. Great for small tools, miscellaneous hardware parts, etc. The entire product is made of plastic, apart from parts of the handle and some of the clasps. Seems sturdy enough
