Nice kit, strong enough and good selection of colors.
A useful set of tester clips with silicone covered wires. Apparently that's nicer than PVC? The wires hold their shape if you bend them into place and the clips fully retract the hook and do what you'd expect. I like that you get two of each color, I might buy a second set now or even three more to have eight of each color. It's a good kit, if you treat it nicely it'll last for years. It's not 50's quality but it's definitely functional and able to hook onto non-SMD electronics. At just over $1/each hook it's great value.

Perfect leads to have around
I consider these a must-have for electrical testing and prototyping, especially for using cheap logic analyzers or the EspoTek Labrador. Alligator clips work great for rough stuff, but for clipping onto individual pins you can't beat Minigrabber-style IC hooks. These have silicone wire insulation that allows them to be very flexible and heat resistant. Definitely pick up some extra-long male headers so you can plug them into a breadboard if you need to

Feels cheap but worked to clip in on anS31 to reprogram it. Who knows how long they will last.

Time saver for multiple flashing devices
These Test hooks work great for flashing smart devices with esp32 chip using a using a USB to TTL adapter. Simply plug in the wires into the Breadboard header on the flasher and the other ends clip onto the pinout pads and flash away. Once it is done the device and clip onto another one and flash again. It is a time saver by not having the solder and de-solder each wire onto each device.

Useful for making temporary connections
Useful for making temporary connections between board edge pins and legs of ICs, etc. Very handy to have if you have a little modern logic analyzer or oscilloscope that is connected with pins on its board.

Handy clips
I use these mostly for connecting a usb serial adapter to various esp boards for flashing, if the pads in at the edge of the board I can flash a rom without any soldering. The hooks make solid contact.
