it turns on/off just fine but the switch is buzzing (loud) when the saw is not powered. Anybody have this too?

It should not buzz when it's turned off. I would remove it immediately and get it replaced ASAP!

Is it a magnetic switch, so if power gos off it will NOT automatically go back on?

Despite what the description says, this isn’t a simple on/off switch - it is a magnetic switch. I wired my up to pair with a relay and discovered the switch would shut off (and not turn back on) when power was interrupted. I opened the enclosure and sure enough, a jumper cable to A1.

Is the green button 'momentary', ie push and release to 'start'? ( similar to the dewalt dwe 7491 table saw power switch)

Yes. Note that if you unplug the power switch you will need to press the “on” (green) button after reconnecting the power to allow power to the machine or the machine’s primary switch
