This capiz light fixture is absolutely gorgeous, most of the pics you see don't do it justice. I had a smaller 16" one I got for my foyer and wanted a larger one for my breakfast/dining area. If you plan to mount it without the 'bars' (extender bars) it's a little trickier, but certainly possible. the hardest part was getting the right length screws that fasten to the exterior 'cap' - they give you 3 different lengths & if you are wrong, you have to un-do the whole bracket in the ceiling to get the attachment screws out/changed. We ended up with a small gap so it's not tight to the ceiling but it actually looks fine and is quite secure. Wiring was pretty simple (white, black & ground). And the directions are 'ok'. I recommend someone with a little DIY savvy or use a handyman to get it mounted. Attaching the shells was EASY!!! Some other reviews said it took ages, but mine came with the shells all pre-strung! Each row labeled so you knew which 'circle' to hang each length of shells. SUPER EASY! Just hook into the holes! ALSO, they include extra shells (double-hole shells & single-hole shells) for replacements along with extra fastening/joining hardware. I did see this 'same' light on other sites, but Amazon had it for less - worth every penny!!!

Love this light! Very coastal/classy. Easy to install and assemble - did it by myself. Only 1 broken shell piece but plenty of extras included. Puts off lots of light. Only complaint is that it is not offered in nickel finish, but I would still by it again!!

The fixture and accompanying capiz shell dangles were packaged, organized, and labeled very well. It was easy to install and it works, so that's great. There were only two capiz shells that the connecting holes were broken but they included extra shells and shell hangers so it was easy to switch them out. It took longer to hang the capiz shell dangles than it did to install the fixture, and I did it by myself. Kudos to the company for their care and attention to making this an easy installation and assembly. This is a beautiful fixture.

I installed this light over a round glass dining table and it is beautiful. It takes six light bulbs which offer plenty of light, and the shells soften it to a lovely glow. Installing the light was easy, I was able to do it by myself. I used only one of the two down rods. Attaching the shells is time consuming but not difficult. The shells are packaged by length with several extra shells in case any are damaged. I did not need the extras and found that the shells are durable despite being thin enough to be translucent. I shopped for this style of light for a few weeks and found the quality and price of this one to be great.

Fantastic chandelier. Easy to install and had 2 people working on stringing the capiz shells. I used bright white LED lights and it lights up the bedroom exceptionally well (the photo does not do it justice). It is much brighter than the pancake lights that were installed by the builder (also LED). The light even comes with extra shells in case any break. Good value for the money. One thing to consider is, I installed it near an air vent and it jingled (like a wind chime) so you may need to reposition the vent slats to prevent airflow on the light. I would buy again.

I don’t leave reviews often, but this light fixture is absolutely beautiful and I felt I should say something. It makes a statement for sure. It was packaged extremely well to protect the shell links. Each link has to be hung on the fixture. It is a little tedious, but super easy. The packaging was such so they weren’t tangled or difficult to separate. If this fixture matches your decor, I’d highly recommend it.

Love this ! It’s not very pricey, considering look when installed, it’s a little sexy and a little tropical look to master suite!

This chandelier was perfect for my bathroom where I have high ceilings. Easy to put up and quality was great. Love capiz shell anything! Very airy.

What a pleasant surprise! When the wind blows, the lamp does a gentle tinkling sound. Not much, just every now and again, gently in the distance. We live on a large lake with lots of wind, and I was concerned I might get a whine chime effect. Didn’t- it’s quite subtle! Love the gentle sound. The video tinkle was generated by waving a book in front, as I couldn’t get to the lamp fast enough to video. Another great bonus: the strands of shell are already linked. All you do is in unpack and hang! It was a breeze!

ordered two - one had 5 broken shells the other had no broken shells - there were enough spare parts to repair... one had little hooks to make hanging the shells much easier, the other did not. i wish the mounting was easier... took several attempts for me to install the first one properly, you must tighten the loose nuts with a wrench or pliers, finger tight not good enough... i omitted to install the rods and mounted them as flushmount... installing the second one was much easier, i did it in under an hour compared to a few hours foe the first one. the results are breathtaking. i put smart color bulbs in it but need to figure out how to program them

Came well packed, no damage and still have extras. Was challenging unwrapping as it was hard to find the beginning to unwrap. I had to use scissors for some Packages to unwrap and was extremely careful not to damage the shells.

Beautiful light. Well packaged with extra parts in case the delicate shells break. (One of them broke during installation and it was a quick fix). Very easy to install with clear instructions and much bigger than we expected.
