Best Bands Hands Down
I already owned a set of Bodylastics Bands so I was already aware of the quality that it came with. I have also been a LiveExercise member long before it changed to Eternity Warrior. I can easily say this band set is amazing. The Wall Anchor is a god send for those looking for different variations of exercises and resistance. The anywhere anchor is nice for traveling workouts. The best thing this set gives you is what it takes away from you--- excuses for not getting a work out in ever. At first I wasn't sold on the bands as a replacement for free weight training. But over time and experimentation with intensity and cadence, I quickly saw that I could push my body to the same limit using bands in 30 minutes that took me 2 hours to do with free weights. Think bands aren't challenging? Try the Tabata method where you do 8 rounds of an exercises for 20 seconds on and 10 seconds rest. Do 8-10 exercises and you'll feel it the next day!!!! Pick the EZ curl bar for additional exercises Thank you Blake for one of the best thought out exercise inventions. It is so awesome you can own an entire gym for 200-250 and take it everywhere you go!!!

A great set with a few issues that are not worth a whole star
I was going to dock it a star for reasons I will get into later in my review, but I love this set too much to do it. Take it from someone that has used resistance bands for many years, this is a really great set. I have used other, cheaper, sets, and I can attest to the carnage of the broken bands left in the corner. I know how to use resistance bands, so a broken band does not lead to an injury and an embarrassing YouTube video. I used to go to the gym, but lets face it your going there with a bunch of strangers sweating all over everything. I used free weights at home, but bars benches etc just clutter everything up. I also guarantee, that I have never stubbed my toe on a resistance band. The reasons that I now prefer resistance bands is because they are light weight, portable, low impact, provide flexible resistance, and provide resistance in both directions just to name a few. Now, on to what I like and dislike about this set. It has enough bands, straps and anchors that I do not have to change set ups and resistances for different exercises. (I set up different stations by using a door anchor on the top and bottom of the door, and attach the small anywhere anchor to the front of my elliptical). The resistance weight is clearly printed on each band. The handles are slip resistant, and non absorbent (foam gets nasty after a while). I purchased it in August and no bands have snapped yet(The cheaper sets would have 3-4 bands break by now). The set comes in a nice gym bag, so it is like a workout in a bag. You could put the entire thing or just the parts you need in your luggage, so you do not have to change your workout routine while traveling. Now a few things that rub me the wrong way: which segues(no not the 2 wheel thing) right into my first complaint. Those nylon canvas things that they use to attach the band to the clips will rub the hide off of you,(it might be a good thing if your looking to build up callouses on your arms or chest) depending on how you use them. The canvas naturally increases in size with the thickness of the bands, so the 30 lb is pretty big. They also absorb sweat and they start getting nasty. (see pic compared to an unused band. I don't know if that is salt or the hide off of my arms, but nasty either way). The clips are sturdy but they are poorly coated. The coating wears off quickly then the clips start corroding from the sweat(see pic compared to unused band). Also, be careful, the end of the moving part of the clip can be sharp on some of them(see pic). The loops on the handles seem huge, and quickly become obtrusive. If you are one of those folks that are attaching 12 bands to them, I guess the size can't be helped, but regular people will only get annoyed by those big hula hoops on the end of your handles(see pic OK, they are not that big, but they seem so when they are getting caught and digging into your arms). As I said, I didn't think these issues were worthy of docking a set I am so pleased with an entire star. For the most part you can avoid the issues by altering how you perform the exercises(except the nasty canvas and cheap clips. Geez use better clips). Other thoughts? I don't like standing on the bands in sneakers during certain exercises. I wish they would have provided a sleeve or something to stand on to protect the band. Also the loop on the anchors are pretty smooth, so the bands will easily slide when alternating arms, or just exercising, leading to uneven resistance if your not careful. I put a little Velcro strap around the bands to prevent the bands from sliding one way or the other(see pic). Works for me. I still without reserve, recommend this set.

Just Go for itโค๏ธ๐ช๐ป
I always used weight to exercise and I thought I would give those bands a try, and Iโm surprised with the results which much better than weights in my personal opinion and the lovely thing is that you can store them under a chair in their elegant bag! I just recommend that you get the Bodylastics Ultra Anchor Door Attachment and keep them attached to your door for easier and smoother daily exercise. Otherwise this package is more than enough!

Simply THE BEST Resistance Bands Available
Anyone who has used or purchased most of the resistance bands available on the market today (and in the past) can tell you that most of them are the same one-piece design that consist of the 2 handles with the band permanently attached to each handle. Most of them look like this ProSource 48-Inch Premium Latex Resistance Exercise Band Set (Set of Five) . Even SPRI, a well known brand, uses this age old design ( SPRI ES502R Xertube Resistance Band with Door Attachment and Exercise Charts (Blue, Heavy) ). Simply do a search on Amazon for "resistance bands" and you'll find that this is true for a lot of the ones that Amazon sells. It's not to say that this design is bad, but after having used the Bodylastic resistance bands, it's safe to say that nothing (even similary designed bands such as Prosource ProSource Set of 3 XTREME Stackable Heavy Duty Premium Latex Resistance Exercise Bands and this Set of 5 NEW Premium Latex Power Resistance Bands Tubes Cords w/ free Door Anchor, Storage Bag and Exercise Instructions ) comes close to the quality of the Bodylastics resistance bands. Most of my experiences with resistance bands come from usage at various gyms, but my first purchase was when I did P90X over a year ago. I purchased these Gold Gym brand bands at my local Walmart Gold's Gym Long Series Resistance Tube Kit with Workout DVD but my problem with those is that nowhere on the box or online stated what "resistance" rating these bands were. Many times throughout the P90X working, the bands were not strong enough... even when combining all 3 bands on a single handle with the various exercise routines that required the bands. Since I recently started doing P90X again, I decided to look at the "T.O." (Terrell Owens) bands that my friend showed me about a year ago in his own home gym. What impressed me about those is that these were quite possibly the sturdiest and most well-made resistance bands I've ever seen and used. In fact I was so impressed, I knew that if I ever started P90X again, these would be the ones to get. I eventually found out that these T.O. bands were actually branded as Bodylastics. I'm not sure if he owns the company or what, but they make 8 different "packages" of resistance bands ranging from the "Basic" (58 lbs of tension) to the MMA Training System (328 lbs of tension). As of this review (3/3/2012), Amazon only carries 6 of these and the one they do not carry are the "Super Strong Man" line which includes the purple 23 lb band and the orange 30 lb band. I would have liked the Super Strong Man line but ended up resorting with the Max Tension XT. There are several reasons why these are the best, in my opinion: 1. The are guaranteed 99.9% snap resistant due to the construction style of the bands. 2. The components are sturdy and high quality. Everything is double-stitched and made with high quality components. 3. The Quick Clip System - Under traditional resistance bands, if you wanted to combine bands, you'd have to hold multiple "one-piece" handles in your hands... which makes it awkward and bulky. Under Bodylastics, you get one handle and up to 7 bands can be attached. Plus there is no memorizing weight resistance for a color. Since the band and clip are one piece, the clip itself has a stamped rating to show you how much resistance it has. 4. The Accessories - Each system set comes with various accessories (in different quantities) that help you maximize your workout if you're solely using these alone. Although they aren't necessary for P90X, these are nice. For the Max Tension XT system, not only do you get a set of handles, but you get a set of ankle straps, the carrying case, and the manual/workout DVD, but you also get the door anchor and the small anywhere anchor. The purpose of the anchors is to allow you to do a lot more exercises you wouldn't be able to do with the bands alone. As long as you have a door and/or a fixed/stationary device (like a pole) you can expand your resistance bands workout. 5. The Lifetime Defects Guarantee - Covers every aspect, even down to the various handles. 6. The 100% Satisfaction Guarantee - Use for up to 90 days or your money back. For those of you wondering, the sets that is on Amazon is indeed the "revised" version of Bodylastic bands manufactured after 2/26/2012. The new bands have different weight ratings. So know you're getting the latest "revision" of the bands when purchasing from Amazon.
