Levy's Leathers Guitar Strap (MM18CH-BRN)

This is a great strap, strong but lightweight. It is wide enough to distribute the weight of my guitar but not so wide that it is uncomfortable. It’s length is good, too, for both acoustic and electric guitars.

Good fit, came as advertised

I have a good number of Levy neckstraps for my guitars and basses and have always loved them, so when I was looking like something like this for my new acoustic which only as one strap button, it made sense to me. There's nothing at all wrong with the adapter itself, but I did find myself with one small issue due to the type of guitar I have: it's a relatively unusual acoustic 7-string multiscale guitar, so the wider neck made for a very tight fit for the adapter behind the nut! The neckstrap itself is practically touching the neck/headstock....not a big deal itself, but a little more slack to allow for wider necks would've been helpful. One odd thing I did notice is that because it's such a tight fit, the leather of the adapter sometimes makes creaking noises that are loud enough for the piezo pickup on the guitar to...errr....pick up. LOL But I figure that'll ease off as the leather stretches and breaks in with use. All said, it does the job it's supposed to so I'm happy with it.

It’s cool, it’s beautiful, and it does what it’s supposed to do, but as with most of these strap button things, it’s just kinda not long enough, and my guitar strap isn’t quite held at the right angle I want it to be —as in, I wish the button was slightly angled so that you could see the front of my strap- it kind of holds the strap horizontal. I hate to say that I might just go back to a shoestring, but I’m not exactly sure if this works for me. Levy’s, if you’re listening, I would love to talk about how to improve this product!

Bought a Gibson and couldn't make myself screw a strap peg in this works perfect

This product is really great! I use it on my Martin 000-15m because it didn’t come with a strap button on the heal. This is very well made and the thickness of the leather inspires confidence that it will last a very long time.

Buyer beware. The rivet button broke after less than a week. I’m so glad I was sitting down when it happened or it would’ve been an absolute disaster. Cheap, poorly made product.

Button broke in half as I was putting it on the first time. Doesn't seem to have a thread. Am I missing something or is it defective ?

On a rather standard sized neck/headstock (Avalon l25) this little strap is pretty snug . Id expect a little more generous length given the price . I bought the brown for it's colour alone but the black etc are twice the price . Not impressed it means with my strap connected also that it kind of has to twist the leather badly which looks awkward as much as it is awkward . I would not but again although I was expecting to , so that I'd not have to change every time I swapped guitars of which I have many .

Purchased less than 24hrs and it broke and damaged headstock on $4000 guitar product is garbage

Quite expensive but it is a quality piece of leather and a very strong metal button. Much neater than the old-fashioned way of tying up with a shoelace or a leather string.

I think this is a good product if you want the specific look. I bought this alongside a Levy's strap as a bundle because I just thought why not. My acoustic doesn't have a second strap holder, I just use one the clip on things but I tried this out and it does what it says. I don't use it because I personally prefer the clip on thing. I like Levy's straps so I think this is a cool little addition if you prefer this method. Shipped fast and packaged well!
