My husband has about a 46 in. chest. It fits him and he has a broad neck. His sleeve length is 16 1/2, but that wouldn't matter as far as the neck.

I guess it depends on what you mean. If it is a hairy guy tell them to wear a t-shirt. If it is Brad Pitt he will be good to go
