Can glass etching cream be tinted?

Hi I'm looking on how can I do wedding invitations that looks like glass but its not will etching cream work like on it as well.

How much area does it cover?

It could reasonable do an area of 18"x18". However it is recommended for only doing small areas.

Can I wear latex gloves and not worry about chemial reactions?

Yes, I use nitrile gloves but the same is true for latex.

Do you need specific brushes?

No. You can use any brush. A good layer covering everything is the key, doesn't matter what you use to make it happen.
