Should give a warning that this does not work in 230v countries, could actually pose a fire hazard, very dangerous.

Power is 110V. Not compatible with 220V countries. I didn't check the voltage and mine burned in a minute. The seller should include this in the description.

Great quality, great price!
This little hot knife sure did the trick even one some thicker foam. I purchased this hot knife to carve out a foam jack o lantern, and it worked great! Heated up relatively fast, the handle itself didn't heat up too much while holding it. It cuts smoothly and the blades that come with it are sharp, and easy to screw on/off. I love that the knife comes with it's own stand as well, helps keeps the work place from burning down lol.

Hot knife tip melted
We bought the hot knife in April and didn’t use it until recently to trim the bleaching trays. The handle got heated very hot instantly and the tip melted/ broke after the first go

worked great!
I used this to carve a foam pumpkin and it worked great! Likes + handy stand + heats up quickly + two blades + easy on-off switch Dislikes - for intricate carving, the blade is a bit too wide at the base I loved this hot knife. I had never tried to carve a foam pumpkin before (or used a hot knife) and it worked great! I loved everything mentioned above. My dislike is not even really about the knife, but the blades included. They are perfect for everything but very precise carving and I was only able to carve openings as wide as the blade or larger because the foam of the pumpkin is so thick it has to reach the widest point to make it all the way through. So, that is pretty specific to this project. Great knife! Fun project!
