nach dem nach und nach einfüllen von bisher ca. 3/4 liter ist die lenkung nach wie vor nicht dicht. der beschreibung nach soll man dann, wenns mit dem inhalt einer flasche nicht klappt, noch eine 2. einfüllen. geldschneiderei ?

I used the Lucas Oil Power Steering Stop Leak when a steering pump in an older vehicle was starting to weep, and it helped me get more miles out of it. It definitely reduced the leaks and gave the system a bit more life before I had to go ahead with a proper replacement. Full disclosure I’m generally not a fan of additives as a long‑term fix because they don’t actually repair worn parts and can only slow down deterioration. With that said, in this case it did what it claimed in the short term: it quieted down some noise, reduced the amount of fluid loss, and let me postpone a new pump for a while. If you’re just trying to buy time before a service or overhaul, this does help slow minor leaks and make the system quieter. Just don’t think of it as a permanent fix, plan to replace the failing components when you can. Pros • Reduces minor leaks • Can quiet noisy steering pumps • Helps extend the life of a marginal system Cons • Not a cure. Only a temporary measure • Not something I’d rely on long term Overall, this additive did exactly what I needed for the moment, but real repairs will always be the lasting solution.

Great value for the larger size vs the retail store 300ml bottles. You’ll always need more, when there is a steady leak.

Everything LUCAS works better. Pulled out the old steering fluid and replaced it all with Lucas. After a couple of weeks, there should be no more leaks. However, you should remove and replace the Lucas with fresh Lucas after about a month. Then, your power steering will work much quieter.
