There are pricier options for BSW sockets, but these are very good. They're standard twelve-point sockets, and they fit properly. The chrome and general finish all look to be in good order, and I used this set to disassemble an old britbike down to the frame. They were fit for purpose; I was very happy to use them. The walls are impressively thin: I never feared for the strength of the sockets in my use, but the thin wall mean they can be used in tight spots. If you're comparing quality and finish, I'd say these were on par with Craftsman tools: good quality, usable for anything, perfectly satisfactory. A machinist friend assessed them with his professional eye, and they have his approval as a good working socket set. I dithered between buying these and the Koken sets, which are probably the best BSW sockets made right now (but at a price). After using this set, I have no regrets. They're good tools.

Arrived today used them straight away excellent for what I need good quality

The deep sockets are ideal for those hard to get at nuts on old engines etc.
