can it be used for trojan industrial batteries?

It can be used on any battery as it only checks the specific gravity of the acid. Works great by the way...

Could this be used to add distilled water too, say drawing the water out of a cup? Looking for multifunction instead of buying tester and filler.

Do NOT buy because MIGHTY MAX is selling it, they are a rip off company who only takes other peoples items and rebrands them to resell, they have NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT, the BATTERIES THEY SELL ARE JUNK TOO.

How do I read it no marks on large tube ?

Read at water level on the inner float.

What exactly is the difference between the car, boat/marine, and golf cart models?

Car. Boat.marine all have starting capacity of 100 amps a golf cart use is about 30 to 40 amps.
