It's really more of a glow. Don't use too much - that gives a very intense glow that doesn't look good. I use a very small drop (less than half a pea) and mix it with my sunscreen/moisturizer which is white. Then I apply it to my face almost like a foundation. That seems to give me the best results.

Is the sunbeam color going to be too dark for some with a porcelain colored skin tone??

it can go on any skintone and it will give you a bit of shimmer.I have Very fair/light skin and it works on me. Then my friend came along and she has very dark skin and tried it. It looked amazing on her

Yes its probably a very good highlighter for darker skin because it doesn't show on lighter skin.. Such as medium or light skkn
