With furigana accompanying every kanji, it certainly does not seem like a bad first choice. The language does not feel too advanced, but still far beyond my abilities after a single month of study. I've only watched a couple episodes of the anime and it seems pretty close to the manga, so I expect that over time, if I keep watching the anime alongside the manga, I'll find this to be a very useful book to develop my Japanese skills. Die wenigen Kanji, die im Text vorkommen, sind direkt mit Hiragana erklärt - perfekt!
