Does it look greasy or become greasy like Let’s Jam gel? The consistency looks similar.

Not at all, I cant even compare the two. I’ve used shine ‘n Jam for years and have been complimented on my hair countless of times. This gel Doesn’t feel greasy nor does it look greasy when applied to your hair. Also, lots of braiders use this particular gel to keep braids neater and last longer. This product is especially great for natural textured hair. Definitely recommend.
