I purchased this sling for a patient recovering from a stroke that left his right arm paralyzed. We needed something that could be applied one-handed, provided solid support, and helped reduce shoulder pain due to subluxation — and this sling has delivered on all fronts. At first glance, it might seem a little complex, but with a bit of practice, my patient was able to put it on independently using his non-affected hand. That alone makes it a great option for people with limited mobility or hemiplegia. The sling comes with a helpful instructional video that demonstrates three different ways to wear it depending on the user’s needs and comfort. That was a big plus, especially for someone who may not have a caregiver available at all times. In terms of function, it provides excellent shoulder joint support and helps prevent that painful pulling sensation caused by arm weight and poor positioning. I purchased this arm sling for my elderly father who had broken his upper arm. He was instructed by the doctor to keep his arm in a sling to keep it immobilised. After trying a few different slings without much success, he found this sling the most comfortable and easy to wear, even with the use of only one arm. Highly recommended.

Hace un mes tuve una luxación de hombro y el cabestrillo que me dieron en el hospital era muy malo. Era complicado de poner, y no me sujetaba bien el brazo, ya que podía separarlo del cuerpo al no ir sujetado en la cintura. Este sistema tira del codo hacia atrás sin molestar pero lo suficiente para no separar el codo del tronco, una vez que le pillas el truco es muy fácil de poner sin ayuda. Al ser tan simple no da calor y sobretodo el verano ha de dar menos calor. La tela es de buena calidad, gruesa pero bien mullida. 100% recomendable, 3 semanas de uso y está como el primer día.
