Excellent and easy upgrade.
Superb speed and a huge performance boost. Super easy installation. All included with online support video. The old SDD becoming a super fast HDD is a life saver too.

after installing the SSD the battery started draining fast

Fonctionne nickel et plus rapide que disque d’origine
augmentation taille ssd (128Go avant). Permis d’avoir installé windows 10 avec Bootcamp. Plus rapide que le disque d’origine. Le boîtier externe permet l’utilisation du disque d’origine. Belles finitions.

Excellent Upgrade for MacAir 2017 Model
I purchased my MacAir in late 2017 and have always struggled with the limits of the 128GD SSD. It wasn't until recently that I discovered a solution from OWC Mac Sales. I have purchased other devices from OWC, but this was the first time I purchased upgrades for my MacAir. The OWC 1.0TB Aura Pro X2 SSD was not a difficult upgrade, but I took my time. The documentation is excellent and the videos are clear.

Completo, elegante, veloce, installazione facile, anche per riprestinare da zero il Mac-air
Prodotto di ottima qualità ed elegante (stile Mac). Completo in tutto, con cacciaviti, elegante e veloce Controller in alluminio satinato per il precedente ssd abbinato al suo sacchettino nero con chiusura la laccetto. Le istruzione sono semplici e tutto e filato liscio. :-))

Nicht billig, aber deutlich günstiger als ein neuer Rechner
Sehr zufrieden. Mit der iFixit Anweisung war die Festplatte nach 30 Minuten eingebaut und nach 3 Stunden waren alle Daten von der alten SSD kopiert und der Rechner lief wieder. Ich habe mich für die Version mit dem externen Gehäuse entschieden und das hat das Update sehr leicht gemacht. Das Werkzeug war okay, man sollte dabei wie immer vorsichtig vorgehen und keine Gewalt anwenden. Ablauf: Festplatte einbauen, Neustart im Recover-Mode, SSD formatieren, neues System installieren und dann die Userdaten über das Installationsprogramm von der (alten) externen Festplatte übernehmen. Ich musste nur einen Treiber für ein USB-WLAN Adapter nachträglich installieren. So kann ich meinen MacBook noch etwas länger benutzen. Lohnt den Preis.

Easy solution to MPBs running low on space
After over a year of constantly being at 10GB remaining, and weekly purges of files that I honestly would have rather kept, I decided enough was enough. Installation of this product was very quick and easy, and after restoring from a Time Machine backup made earlier that day, my MacBook is back on and working normally - just this time far fewer of those "Disk space nearly full" messages popping up hourly! Saved me hundreds as now I can hold off on purchasing a new MPB model and all 40 adapters necessary to use a laptop with only a couple Thunderbolt ports... Very happy with this purchase.
