Saw something similar on Facebook, Decided to check Amazon before purchasing. boy am I glad I did! On sale $20, FB $35. Works as advertised. Never really liked to tailgate dropping hard, with the camera on the back getting slammed around, especially when someone other than myself was opening the tail gate. no worries now! Installed in under 30 min. Read the instructions carefully as they cover several years.

If I could give it 6 stars
This is hands down, or should I say hands up the best upgrade so far on the truck. It was extremely easy to install and probably save you from many unpleasant surprises not even to mention sounding like you break your tailgate every time it falls open. It lowers the tailgate nice and elegantly while closing it with no push back. We have this now for over 3 years and it still works great. Highly recommend this product
