I LOVE THIS TEAPOT
Love Love Love this product. It is so cool looking plus it works great. The tea leaf basket comes out to make cleaning it super easy and it is the perfect size for two cups of tea at a time. I love using loose leaf tea and this infuser teapot is so much easier and quicker to use then my tea leaf infuser ball steepers. No filling and having to get the two halves back to together or having it pop open in the bottom of your tea cup. Just add loose tea to the infuser and pour hot water over it. Voila! You have great tea and the teapot is so pretty at the same time! You can easily see how dark you tea is so can steep it to your desired strength without having to keep opening the teapot to check. I give this product a 100 on the scale of 1 to 100.

An Excellent Teapot for a Good Price
I've never used a teapot before and I've only recently got into trying to infuse loose leaf tea. Though I don't claim to be an expert, I am thoroughly satisfied with this teapot and infuser. Aesthetically, it is quite clean, cute, and modern. The glass teapot as well as the metal parts seem to be constructed well and with good materials. I have decent sized hands and the handle is ergonomically comfortable. It is easy to clean and doesn't take up a lot of space. The only gripe I have about this teapot is that the lid has a metal sphere to grip for removal of the lid. As the tea steeps, this part can get moderately hot, so I have to be careful when I want to remove the lid. Otherwise, everything else is excellent. Overall, I'd say my money was well spent on this teapot and infuser combo and I would recommend it.

It feels so incredibly fragile... but it's still lovely!
This teapot is quite nice if you don't mind the fragile feel. I'm sure I've had ceramic or porcelain teapots that have had the same feel but something about it being glass makes it feel more fragile. It works quite well, the strainer frame fits well in the glass pot. The strainer itself is easy to insert and remove. But you do have to be careful and mind the stainless steel, it WILL try to rust if you don't properly wash and immediately dry the pieces. I've had mine since December 20106 and it's shown a few signs of rust where I didn't clean it and dry it fast enough. I've noticed that it's prone to spilling while pouring so I've taken to the quick sharp pour style over the gentle pour. That may sound silly but anybody who has used a teapot before knows what I mean.

Best of all!
My husband and I are tea lovers. We drink tea everyday. It was more than a year ago when I bought a glass one and safe for stove top. It worked for a few months and then one day in the morning in winter it broke into pieces right after turning the stove on, probably due to sudden temperature change. So I used my old teapot which I am not sure if it leaches the chemical. So I purchased another one and it was broken already in the box. I purchased a third one which had a big problem due to spilling water so much from around the lid when pouring tea into a cup. I returned that too! Finally I got this one which is made of high quality glass but it is not safe for stove top. I boil water in a stainless steel saucepan and then pour into the teapot which already added some loose tea to the infuser. Then I covered the teapot with a kitchen towel to keep it hot while brewing. For longer life of your tea pot, it is better to keep tea pot on top of the pan or a kettle that you boil water in it, when the water has come to a boil to get your tea pot warm before pouring boiling water into it. That way, there won't be sudden temperature change.

best teapot I ever had
Best, most useful, most well-designed and made teapot I ever had. Of course, I do NOT put this teapot directly on the heat as I never put any teapot directly on the heat. I heat water in a whistling teakettle & then pour over the tea leaves in the strainer. This pot is shaped so it's easy to see when the water reaches the correct level. The handle does not get hot. Spout does not drip when pouring. The strainer can be removed, the lid replaced, and the remainder of the tea refrigerated in the pot if desired. Pour refrigerated tea into a sturdy, heatproof mug and reheat only enough for pleasant enjoyment in the microwave. (Caution: no sudden temperature changes please. Might be heat-resistant glass, but still requires proper care if it's going to last.) Cleaning the strainer and the pot is very convenient since the openings are of generous size. If something happens to this teapot, I shall certainly replace it with another of the same. Highly recommended!!!

Great stylish teapot!
This teapot is more modern and stylish in real life than the pictures make it out to be. I love how it looks. It makes a lot of tea in a single brew, too. The complaints of the other customers are on point - it does get pretty hot everywhere but the handle, and it does tend to spill when you pour. For me, this is not a problem because I want my tea to stop steeping at a certain point, so I take out the infuser and lid (with a towel so I don't burn my fingers) when my tea has steeped long enough, leave the lid/infuser in the sink, and pour with the teapot "open". It pours without a problem like this. Maybe this isn't for everybody, but this way my teas don't over steep, and there's no spill.

Tea Pot better for Blooming than Regular Tea
After reading all the glowing reviews, I was excited to order one of these to replace my Bodum Bora Bora tea press that unfortunately got a crack in the spout. Overall, I think this would work for most people, however, after a few uses, I'm a little disappointed in a few particular points. This tea pot is bigger than my old one, so you can make bigger batches of tea, which is nice if you do not want to have to make it more than once a day. I do not think the capacity is as usable as they say it is though. In my few uses since getting it, 24 oz seems like it is about the sweet spot. You may be able to make 32 oz, however, the infuser (at least for what I brew, Guayusa), is too small to hold any more than enough for 24 oz (which I use 6 tablespoons). Any more than that, and it comes out of the infuser, and into the part that holds the infuser. In the picture, notice the size difference of the infusers, the left is this tea pot, the right is my old 17oz Bodum Bora Bora, which granted, it needs the space for the brewed tea to be contained in, but it's also an infuser made for a tea pot that is at least 1/2 if not more, as big as the other tea pot. I am also not that impressed with the welding job on the infuser itself. The holes are good, but there are too large of gaps between the sheet of holes and the cup portion that makes the infuser bottom, and tea ends up sliding through, or getting caught on the edges of the sheet of holes. So it makes it kind of hard to wash, not a big deal, just something I noticed wasn't a problem with my Bodum press. While being able to take out the infuser basket is nice, to stop the brewing process, you have to come up with something to put it on, so that it doesn't leak all over the place... Overall, it's a decent tea pot, and will probably work for most people, but I decided to retire this one to the house, where I don't drink as much tea, and ordered a Bodum Assam Tea Press with Stainless Steel Filter, 17-Ounce to use at the office, as I think it will meet my needs better.

Easy to use. Good quality.
I've been an avid coffee drinker for years now. I always dismissed tea as being pretty bland, however a friend of mine resently convinced me to give it another try with better quality tea, and tea pot. I was hooked. This is technically my second infuser basket teapot, with the first being a cast iron pot that is more of a novelty than a functional pot. I've not had any trouble in the two weeks I've been using it, and it makes some delicious tea. It keeps the tea surprisingly warm given it's glass, but the handle stays very cool making pouring nice and easy. It can comfortably fit 3 cups of water which is just about right for how much tea I want in one sitting. Additionally the pot is very easy to clean. I don't have any real complaints at all.
