I bought this engraver to mark all my tools with my name, since at work it's common for them to get lost because other people take them. The engraving is clear and visible, it writes well on metal, and it's easy to use. It doesn't prevent someone from taking them, but a marked tool is much less likely to disappear. It's practical, it does its job, and it's ideal for work use.

The tool works great but i needed a finer point, this id a tiny ball! But still great tool for the cost! Id buy this brand again if i could find tinier tip.

Small, cute, and works good

For something so inexpensive and small, this thing really got the job done! I had some keys for the cabinets in my classroom and I needed to engrave them so I could tell them apart. This thing cut into the keys effortlessly, and its small size made it easy to work with~ almost like a pencil. Pretty impressive for something powered by AAA batteries (which were included, by the way).

This cordless engraving pen has potential but falls short in key areas. While the diamond tip is precise, the motor lacks sufficient power for engraving harder materials like metal effectively. It works better on softer surfaces but struggles with consistency. The cordless design is convenient, but the battery drains quickly, limiting its use for larger projects. Additionally, the build quality feels less durable than expected. It’s adequate for occasional, light-duty tasks, but not reliable for more demanding projects. Overall, it’s a basic tool with limitations, better suited for beginners or very simple engraving needs.

Second purchase of this item. Works as advertised. My son is in an electrical program and tool theft is a problem. I have the motor skills of a drunk gnat and still manage to get legible initials on tools, both metal and molded plastics with ease. Now each kid carries one of these in their tool bags for immediate labeling of new tools.

This is the third one that I've ordered in the last 3 years and that's simply because I sit them down somewhere and then forget where I put them. Lol. This is a very convenient device that I have used for engraving my name into scissors, garden tools, my hammer, and even, my new e-bike. I've even had friends and family borrow it so that they can use it and order one themselves when they discovered how inexpensive they are. Definitely something worth having in your kitchen drawer.
