Decent for the price
I picked this up, put it over the boat, and had rain about 2 days later. A rather large pool developed in the cover, but nothing dripped through. The pool had stretched the cover a little, but after removing the water, creating a bit of a frame under the cover to facilitate the water rolling off of the cover, and some hot days in the sun, the cover shrunk back into shape and works fine. Fort the price, I'd say it's an excellent purchase! Update: After the better part of a season in the rainy Pacific Northwest, the cover did develop a tear. Once it had a tear, it was pretty well over for the cover (the tear runs really easily). I am leaving the review as positive because it did survive having water pool up and weighing down the cover several times (after a few rains, several gallons of water were captured by the cover without any getting in). The cover itself is not a good shape for my drift boat, which has a wide teacup shape. I could not prop it up far enough to have a water-shedding shape and keep the boat covered at the widest point, and not sheding water is what killed it. On a more traditionally shaped boat, you should be able to create a peak in the middle of the boat that helps the cover maintain a water-shedding slope fro. The center to the outside edge in rain.

Cheap unfortunately reflects in more than just the price...
I purchased the cover for my fishing boat that is kept in dry storage at our local lake in August of 2018. I was impressed on how it fit my little 12' aluminum fishing boat as I used 1/2" PVC to form a skeleton on top to help shed water in the event of rain and used long bungee cords to link the grommets underneath the hull. The cover was shiny and lightweight and looked good once installed, even the lake's maintenance workers complemented on how good the cover looked. (photo 1) Unfortunately it didn't last 6 months these pics (photo 2 & 3) were taken Feb 28, 2019. The fabric ripped along the PVC frames and the interior of the boat I intended to protect held all of the seasons rain and leaves inside the hull. I would not recommend for anything other than very short term use. I will go with a UV rated weather resistant cloth fabric in the future.

Flexible, light weight and easy one person installation. Impressive!!!
Great cover for my 14' aluminum fishing boat. It arrived just before a 24 hour down pouring rain storm. The material is very flexible and stretchy. As it rained, the tarp filled with water and I would manually grab it and lift it to empty out the water. This is no fault of the cover as I should have made a frame for the cover to sit on inside of my boat to help the water run off the cover. After the rain stopped, I checked the carpet in the boat and it was completely dry. The winds during the storm were reaching up to 50 miles per hour and this cover stayed put on the boat. I can't speak about how long this cover will hold up yet. I believe this cover is a great buy and it will last longer than a regular tarp.... especially after it is on a frame that helps it shed the water.

Ripped when opened
I ordered this cover and upon opening it there was a huge tear right along where one of the straps was attached... Contacted seller so we will see what happens... Cover is thin, but, it was inexpensive... Seems it would have been fine had it not been torn... Hopefully it can be changed and I can update this review to a positive one. UPDATE: Seller replace with a new cover and it has worked fine... Again it is thin but I got through a whole winter outdoors without any problems other than the occasional puddling...

Stands weather but rips easily.
It fits a Laser dinghy very well. Lasted a full season under all sorts of weather. Fully impermeable. The straps are fine. Unfortunately, the fabric tears easily and the rips are long.

Got it the next day after it was shipped.
After a couple years the fabric ripped when I grabbed into it. Probably from sun and weather wear. So just ordered another on.

Does not hold up to outdoors. Turns into rag very quickly. Tears easily also.

PRICED RIGHT, FIT GOOD.
Our organization has a donated 12 ft. alum. V - HULL boat and this cover fit perfectly. Bungee cords were used to tighten it up and secure it on and a center support was used to get the rain and snow to drain off. The center support was a cheap ABS plastic pipe going inside from end to end held up in the middle by a piece of wood.
