I love the book. The only thing that is not great - uses the European terms like cm, 24 hour clock, C degrees, etc. I would buy it again. Review: I can't compare in exercises quality because different levels, but for me it's a good choice

Well researched book and it really improved my child's arithmetics performance.

Lots and lots of sums, word problems and conversion questions. Keeps the kids engaged and supplements school study. Also has self-tracker/performance tracker if you wish to keep track of your kid's progress. Good to build mathematics foundation for kids

I use this series as part of our maths curriculum with my home-educated son. The book is very clear and easy to use. There is plenty of work for him to do so he doesn't use the book up too quickly. I also find some maths books suddenly jump levels and get a lot harder, whereas this series is very good at getting progressively slightly harder so that students progress slowly and steadily. Each page has three different tests - all mental arithmetic but a slightly different emphasis eg. the third test is slightly more wordy with problem solving type questions. It is an excellent curriculum with no gimmicks.
