My toddler loves these TOOB animals. They encourage opportunity to talk about each animal and where it lives. This ocean set is very realistic and detailed. I love that the name of each animal is printed on the bottom of the figure. These minis are a great way to build an animal figurine collection without breaking the bank.

I bought these as teaching aids to help my kids learn about different animals around the world. Concepts are so much easier for them to grasp if they can hold and play with the animals they're leaning about, rather than just reading about them in a book. The animals are well crafted, the pieces have been nicely painted and they're fairly detailed which helps them look more realistic - the starfish has ridges, the shark has fins, and the octopus has suction cup bumps. They also have their names on the underside in case you need help identifying what they are. Most of the pieces in this set stand up on their own fairly well, although some are a little wobbly. The only thing I find a little cumbersome is the tube itself. While it's great for storing, it's compact size and odd shape makes it difficult to get the animals in and out - the rope handle also seems to get in the way. Other than the somewhat troublesome tube, the animals in this set are great and I will definitely be buying more of these collections.

These hard rubber creatures go everywhere: in the bath, in the car, in the diaper bag. Our toddler loves having something to play with. They are small enough to be easy to carry and simple enough to encourage imaginative play. The dense rubber has a solid, heavy feeling in the hand letting you know that its not a cheap plastic thing.

Kids love them and I appreciate the quality and safety. Perfect for sand play.

My children have really been into sea animals since we have been visiting the aquarium so much this summer. The prices for similar toys in the gift shop were crazy and the animals look so unrealistic. I like these because they look good and they are sturdy. Now my kids can bring along their favorite one, or all of them, and we try to find the animal in the aquarium. They really have a great time and now my 2 yr old can identify all the animals in the tube! I do wish they were a little bigger though but that i say only complaint!

I got these for my kids why we are learning about ocean habitats. These toys are great for learning different species and play time. They're a good quality and I can tell they'll be able to stand the test of time and playing very well. I am planning on getting more to go along with further studies on animals.

My preschoolers love this set of sea animals.. from day one this is one of the most popular centers-they have sorted by color and size and most amazing is they can name each animal. Animals are very lifelike and just right size for 3-5 years old hands.

Purchased these as part of our homeschooling science course. We are using them to make a display of an underwater scene called an ocean box. They are durable and nicely detailed. I decided to purchase these from Amazon because they are cheaper than what I could have gotten them for at our local hobby store.
