tomtoc Defender-A13 Laptop Sleeve

Been using it for a bit now and its quite a nice case. Fits my 2014 MBP 15" with a hard shell case well. The protection is as advertised. There's some sort of pillowey material that runs along the edges of the case with this bubble material on the flat surfaces of the case. However, I do not trust for a minute that this thing has drop protection. At most, what it has done for me thus far, is provide excellent bump protection. Whenever I drop something onto the case or the case bumps into something while in my bag, the laptop is well protected. I've had this occur to me a few times and each time the laptop came out fine (as well as the hardshell case I have on my device). But I suspect that a waist high drop will not be protected from. The case is also water resistant. The pocket on the front is big enough to store papers so that's also a plus. All in all a solid case. ~40$ is on the edge of being a little too steeply priced. But given what it has done so far, it's been worth it.

I was a little unsure when I bought this if it would fit my MacBook Pro, based on other reviews. Fits it perfectly (2015 model). It is nice and snug without being tight, and I feel if it was looser, it would move around in the case too much. Offers great protection for my computer, and would recommend to other buyers.

Excellent quality case for your 2017, 15" MacBook Pro and similar sized laptops! It's not a snug fit but the extra room allows flexibility if you decide to accessorize your laptop with a thicker protective shell case. The protective pods on the inner lining is thoughtfully designed for support and small mishaps while the outer canvas shell adds adequate water resistance. The zippered outer pocket is perfect for your power adapter, accessories and portable drive. Very happy with this purchase!

After a few weeks of usage with a 15 inch macbook (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015), i can now tell it's a very good product : It fits perfectly. I had my computer in it when I got careless and it fell on the floor : 0 damage, the cushioning on the sides is very well made, even under the zipper.

It really protects the borders of my laptop, Macbook 15 Touchbar late 2016, better than other incase sleeves. Also Im using the hard shell of incase and it fits well into the sleeve, however it lefts some room in there, like 2 cm per side, but I can live with that. In Amazon they sell the 15inch and the 15-15.4inch sleeves, but in the tomtoc webpage the sleeve for the macbook pro retina, and the one for the latest macbook pro with touchbar have the same External dimensions: 15 x 10.75 x 1.2 in; so I'm guessing both are the same. However I am very satisfied with the sleeve even if it is a little big, but in that way is easier to take out your mac.
