I really like the quality of these coffee pots! I tried purchasing cheaper ones and had to send them back. I bought different sizes of them in the past. With XXL size, you make 2-3 standard/large coffee cups and probably 5-6 if you’re using smaller Turkish cups. After you’ve made your coffee, rinse the pot immediately and wipe it off clean with paper towels, and it will look great and serve you well for a pretty long time. No dish soap needed at all. We stick to Kurukahveci coffee for these pots, along with a “Turkish coffee spice blend” for aroma. Alternatively, you can get a pumpkin spice blend from Trader Joe’s, which is pretty much identical to any Turkish spice blend and costs a fraction of those.

I just discovered Turkish coffee and wanted to invest in a proper Cezve to make my coffee experience event better. This is a beautiful Cezve and the quality is outstanding. The wood handle is as gorgeous as the design on the copper. Having the proper tool to make coffee makes all the difference in the world. This Cezve enhance the flavour in the coffee and it taste amazing. My only recommendation is that they should provide a better way to ship the product. It was very well wrapped but not enough as my Cezve did end up with a dent on the side of the pot (see pictures). I was lucky that the bottom wasn't impacted, otherwise I would have returning it.

This is a well made coffee pot. I am a metalsmith and this is made from 18 gauge copper with tin plating on the inside. The tin coating is very good with no runs or missing plating. The outside is deeply engraved and will not wear away over time. After engraving the surface was buffed then polished to remove any sharp edges. The outside is not varnished meaning that the copper will tarnish when used. The information sent with it states that and gives detailed instructions on how to polish it should you desire. The handle is made from beechwood and is varnished with no cracks or burrs. The handle attachment hardware is solid brass and is securely riveted to the pot. I filled it to the brim (above the rivets) to see if it would leak where the handle is attached and it does not. It arrives in two pieces with the handle not attached. There is a robust screw brazed to the brass mount and you will need to screw the handle onto the screw to mount it. The handle is pre-drilled and I had no problems screwing it on. It was secured solidly. The pot itself weighs half a pound and will sit steady when empty without tipping over. I purchased the medium size and filling it to the narrow part of the pot measures 8 ounces. It holds 10 ounces to the brim. It was wrapped with padding and packaged well to avoid any damage in shipping. The paperwork that it came with stated that it was made in Turkey.
