Great Buy!
These head phones are great especially for the money. The sound is awesome and clear with volume only half way up unlike earbuds where i have volume at max. There comfortable and have all the buttons you need. Skip back and forward, volume up and down, and main power button for answering phone, pause, or power on or off. I actually lost them then bought two more as they were on sale only to find my other one lol. So I now have three. Easy to set up like most headphones. They stay in place on your head. They tight on head so block out most noise but not all which is a good thing for safety reason. I am able to walk away rather far from them so there range is really good. Battery life is excellent as i used them for over 8 hours consistently (overnight worker). They were still going strong even after that but lost first pair so can't say anything more then that as only had them for a couple of days.

Quality and durable for about 2 years
I've bought this item a few times. Decent bass, good fit with moderate sport movement, water resistant, fairly durable, great battrey life. But, every 2 years almost exactly, I find myself removing a shirt or hat, accidentally hitting and breaking the headphones. Usually it snaps around the speaker area, and probably after 2 years of sunlight, sweat, and being thrown around. But for 25-30 bucks every 2 years? Pretty darn good!

Not great on rain days; really good value; Follow instructions to connect! Overall solid product.
They have a surprisingly good sound quality for what I use them for. They fit on my head and stay on my head and are comfortable when I am jogging or riding my bike. I find the function buttons to be easy to navigate. I really like having distinct buttons instead of trying to hold some button for just the right amount of time. People do complain about the connection and connecting them to your phone can be wonky but you really need to follow the instructions closely. My only complaint is the waterproofing. Even in a fairly light drizzle if they get wet they are compromised. Mine got wet on a run and stopped working and I as soon as I got home I put them into a Ziploc with some silicon packets and left them there for 4 days and I think I revived them. But it was a close call. I would keep a Ziploc bag handy if you're out in iffy weather and get them safe and dry ASAP if it starts to drizzle. But great quality for the price. And the connectivity is really good too.

This is a great set of headphones.
These are great! Very comfortable, both when I have them on my ears, and when I just have them resting around my neck. Nice long battery life (I have listened to music for 9 hours straight, and it didn't take the entire battery life). Good, loud volume with great sound. The controls are very intuitive, and easy to use. So far, nobody has complained about difficulty hearing me or back ground noise when I was using them to take phone calls while driving. They fit securely around the back of my neck, so they don't cause any discomfort with my various hats. Yeah...I have absolutely no complaints about these. I would recommend this set to anybody who wants a nice set of headphones, without a lot of bulk.

They would be prefect is the air piece didnโt break every 3-6mon.
So, I have been buying soundbot headphones since 2005 and I have to say that the quality has gotten worse over the years. My first pair were SB220โs to replace a pair of 500 seinheiser Bluetooth headphone and I was pleasantly surprised. The Sind was clear and not muffled, the controls were convenient and, as a guy with a big head, I found that they stretched a bit (after I wore them for a few weeks). The only downside was the mic. No matter what, ppl thought I was far away or under water. I had those first pair for 3-4 years. After they broke, I went looking for the same headphones only to find out that soundbot had obviously gone with cheaper parts which brought the headphones down 10 dollars BUT they severely sacrificed quality. The sound wasnโt the same and the headphone were cheap and flimsy. They would constantly have connection issue as well. Thatโs when I found the SB221โs. This model was what I expected from soundbot. The clarity of sound, the mic was great. There was no connection issue HOWEVER these are still built with cheaper lesser-quality parts and, as such, they break ALL THE TIME. It seems like every 6 mon. I have to replace these headphones because they always break in the same place. The outer plasticine the left side breaks off first. It exposes the three screws that are supposed to hold the piece to the earpiece. Then, after a while, the right one will break off as well. (I know because I have taped them up and tried to still use them). I ende up haveing to get them replaced. Coo us is good about the first replacement (although, they want you to send the second pair back to them for the second replacement). It is so frustrating. They should last for more than 6 months. Itโs clearly a flawed design. They would be prefect if they didnโt break every 3-6mon.

Great Sound, Great Microphone, but not designed for Average Neck/Head sizes
I just got my SoundBot SB221 headphones, and after using them for a few hours tonight, here's my thoughts. Sound Quality: 9/10 Considering how in-expensive these things are I am extremely impressed with the sound quality. I've been cycling through various types of music and videos (via Netflix/Prime/DisneyPlus)... and these things sound great. They give a really full and rich sound with a good bass. Noise Reduction: 7/10 The key word here is Reduction, not Cancelation. Does it remove all noise around me? No. If I'm just wearing them with nothing playing, I can generally hear everything. But If I've got music on with volume set to at least 40% or higher, it downs out most things. For Videos it's up and down depending on the scenes. If you're looking for something to listen to music and at least filter out some of the noise around you, these definitely do the job. Microphone Quality: 7/10 I've not used it on a Zoom yet but intend to. The testing I've done on phone calls has been great. Everyone hears me perfectly fine with no complaints. Technology (Bluetooth, Battery, etc.): TBD but promising The Bluetooth works well. The headset showed on my phone's nearby devices as soon as I turned it on. I've done some tests in my house and found that on average I can walk 3 to 4 rooms away (so maybe 30 - 40 feet) before I start to lose the connection. I've not had it long enough to test the battery so I'll have to update again once I've had more time with that. So far so good right? Design: 4/10 Ok, let me explain. First, the good: I like how the frame is collapsible which is useful for storage. I also like how the actual speakers can rotate which I'd imagine can be helpful for differing ear shapes/angles. Now, the bad: The main issue I have is that this headset appears to have been designed to fit around the head of children. Seriously. If you aren't a teenager (or younger) and/or if you aren't a special human being granted with the gift of a thinner skull/head... you're gonna struggle with these. I'll admit my neck and head are probably larger than average... but still. I can get the speakers over my ears but only stretching the frame past it's natural form. Because of this, it sits on my ears less comfortably than it should. Also, because of the smaller frame, it ends up causing the point where the frame folds on both sides to push up against head behind my ears which causes more discomfort. And even where it sits on my ears, it does so with less breathing room (due to the padding). I've attached a picture above showing just how small the frame's natural form is (compared to an iPhone 8). It's truly hard to believe they intended this for any adults with a normal sized skull/head/neck. I had to double check the box and posting to see if I had accidentally selected "Small" or "Kids" size. And once you see the real size of it, you instantly know (if you didn't already) that the images on the listing of people wearing them are photoshopped cause there's no way there's that much frame to spare behind them. I could be wrong, but I suspect it comes down to how wide the overall frame is. I think it probably goes back far enough, but is not wide enough. So what's my all in all review? I'm torn. For a (as of 10/15/2022) $20 set of behind ear headphones, these things are a great option when it comes to sound quality, microphone quality, and portability. The swivel/folding features of the frame are awesome. But, if you are looking for headphones for anyone older than 15 and not uniquely blessed with a smaller skull/head/neck... then these are not going to be as comfortable as they should be. The frame just isn't wide enough to comfortably fit as it should on an average persons head/neck... and certainly not for someone with a larger head/neck. I'm going to give them some more time over the next two days to see if anything changes... but I suspect I'm going to have to ask to return them which is a shame. The sound is great on them. Probably one of the best for the price I'll find.

good bass, plenty of volume. just takes a little getting used to
slightly heavy, but worth it - good bass, frame does not pinch the top of my ears, and does not bite into my skull either! gets PLENTY loud so even if they have the music loud at the gym, i can still hear my music. it definitely takes a little getting used to - when i first got on the elliptical it felt like they were falling off, but turns out they were just settling onto my ears. only quirk is that while doing crunches, the hard neck band will sometimes touch the floor/pad and move them a little. the solution there was to just turn my head a little to one side or look up so the neck band was touching my neck instead of the floor. no problems while jumping rope, walking fast (3.5mph) on treadmill, or using any of the machines. also not a problem leaning over to drink from the water fountain. once i got used to them, it never once felt like they were going to fall off. Update - battery life so far has been amazing! I only go to the gym 3 days a week for an hour each time, and it lasted an entire month before I had to charge it again. Update 2 - I got a new phone (pixel 2 xl) which has android 8.1. now when i connect to my headphones, the phone's bluetooth icon (in the pull-down quick actions) has a battery indicator next to it. go into bluetooth settings and it actually shows a percentage of the headphones battery life! no more guessing whether i'll have enough juice to finish a workout or mow the yard! ONE YEAR UPDATE - Jan 2019: battery life is still great, and aside from a few scratches on the outside where the headphones rub on itself while folded, i have nothing negative to say. Still connects as easily as ever, shows battery life on my phone, and sounds great. The ear pads are also still in good shape - i've seen others like this start to peel after a while, but these are not peeling or cracking so far.

Highly recommended
I owned a previous model, SB220 for 4 years until the left channel just died a few weeks ago. I always thought that heavily used headset that can last more than a year is a bargain for a price (under 20 bucks!). I used it with my iPhone(s) at least 1-2 hours a day, often more. The battery held the charge for days till the very end. It folds easily and can be carried in the pocket. I have never bothered with a poach supplied but some people might find it handy especially if you carry it in the dusty environment. It pairs easily, then you just turn the headset on holding the central button until you hear a specific sound shortly followed by a single beep, meaning it is connected an you can start listening. I was really amazed that something of this class can last that long so I didn't hesitate to buy the same brand. I opted for a next version of it, SB221 that was supposed to be very similar with some improvements (and same price too!). And it was: the sound quality is noticeably better. I had to get used to the new shape of controls but after 2 days it was as convenient as with the old ones.I have to note that it sits a bit tighter that SB220. It's not a problem for me but guys with large heads might feel it. Also, it still has no indication that the battery is about to get empty, would be nice to indicate, say, 10% left with some light. You should also be careful with multipurpose central button to avoid it start dialing a random number from your phonebook. The microphone on both SB220 and 221 is not the greatest one, but it is adequate and lets you answer a call and talk without having to grab your phone and pull it out from wherever you usually carry it. Some people complain about sound level, in this case you just have to speak up a bit and it will be OK. Anyway, everything considered it's still a model gadget: inexpensive, sleek, doing what it is supposed to do and lasts more than you would expect. I am yet to see if SB221 can outlast SB220 but it might take a few years to find out.
