Superb bleach
I've gone from faded red with a cherry red fringe to a peach blonde! * The last photo is after an ash blonde dye, as there was still a strawberry tone to my fringe and underneath colour. I did love the cherry red colour of my hair originally but found my fringe kept the colour better than the lengths that would loose the colour after one wash! My red dye was a semi permanent conditioner colour but after each wash looked incredibly uneven so I desided to bleach it out over the Easter weekend and go back to a medium ash blonde. I purchased this bleach and a medium ash blonde and also a light ash brown just incase my hair was too red still or it went orange. I left off the clarifying shampoo in the box as I'd washed my hair with my own the day before to strip the reds. I started by putting the bleach on my fringe and roots first as that was where I had most of the darkest red tones then after about twenty minutes I spread more though the lengths. On rinsing out the bleach completely I followed the bond repair steps then put the medium ash blonde on my hair, this sorted out my lengths but only slightly toned my fringe and roots, so I mixed the last bit of dye with a quarter of the light ash brown and some more development fluid. This sorted out my roots and neutralised the redishness of my fringe and the darker parts of the lengths. On throughly rinsing out the bleach I applied the deep conditioner treatment bond repair to work in not frying my hair stopping breakages and crispy ends. I have to point out that my hair has always been on the par with sheeps wool.... It's not "normal hair". There is no weight at all to it and when I was younger I'd iron it to death for that glossy straight look only for it to shrink back at the mearest hint of moisture in the hair. Recently I've embraced it's wooliness, so I was never expecting this bleach and pureplex treatment to give me shiny glossy silky hair. I just didn't want it to be fried or break off completely. Highly recommended as there was definitely no yellow/orange scaryness that I've had in the past bleaching my hair. Remember after bleaching to stick with ash toned dyes to avoid the carrot or neon yellow look.

Works better on lighter hair
So I cut my hair short back in March, was letting it grow but hate my natural brown as it is the darkest brown ever to the point where it has such muted towns and lighter hair does suit me better. I'm only using this bleach to eventually apply a permanent light golden brown, so this is only a bleach result. I was a Bblonde girly before but that doesn't come with all the tools, the pack is awesome and comes with a lot, is time consuming. Left this in for 50 minutes. Bleach has always caused me to have yellowish tones because of how dark my hair is, but this bleach made my already bleached fringe go Targaryan blonde which no bleach has ever achieved. I'd say ideally for really dark hair if you actually wanted to get white light blonde you'd have to use two treatments with space in between as to not fry out your hair as I did lather and use almost the whole contents even though my hair is so short it did end up patchy but I'm not too concerned on the back. Also it has made me lose my fringe (I've let grow out from full fringe) curls :( this does make the length less convenient for me so I will be applying the perm hair dye on the fringe and potentially keeping the side burns bleach blonde, overall I think this will give the perm hair dye texture as some parts will inevitably be lighter than others. Overall great bleach, works better on lighter hair, first pic is for comparison of what I went from :)

Excellent at stripping black hair dye
8 years of black box dye was taken to a copper with one application. Lifted about 6 levels with no damage. Started to dry out very quickly but using tin oil and the plastic cap provided with warmth from my head meant when I pulled the foils off it was still runny and I had enough to squeeze out and do a bleach wash just to even it out. I have almost bottom length hair and two packs of this were just enough. Really impressed. Got it in my basket for next month after my hair has rested a bit. Excellent value for money

An honest review.
I will go into this review picking apart some things other people have said. 1. Don't expect BLONDE hair, if you're using it ONE time, on DARK hair..Thats not how bleach works. To achieve ice blonde, from dark hair, you will need multiple applications. And 2. I dont know why people are saying its expensive, it's cheap as bleach goes. And for me, it was a decent one. Little bit of background on my hair, I've been dying my hair for 16 years, used many product's, many brands. And can honestly say this bleach has done the least damage on my hair for the best price, facts. I had a VERY minimal breakaway ( It was exclusively a small ammount of my PRE-LIGHTENED ends) I had a neon orange over my hair before I bleached it, hair of course has some of that neon orange resudue on my mid section, as expected with any bleaching at home experience on top of dyed hair, and it will take another application to get the rest out completely, but it has lightened it significantly. Most of my hair though I can say is ICE white, with very small strands of yellowing, which isn't a problem as I was only bleaching it again to brighten to put more whacky colours on top. It is a GOOD PRODUCT for that. Would not recommend if your hair is already fried to death, which I think is what some of the women in these reviews have done and are just blaming this product, but if you have minimal damaged hair, it'll be ok. Also wouldn't recommend, as I said above, if you're expecting blone from using this product ONCE if your hair is dark, it will definitely lighten, but you WILL have ginger/yellow hair, anyone with a brain and logic should know that. But this product is really is good on prelightened based hair. So if you're using this product to achieve an ice/platinum blonde right off the bat, you MAY be disappointed based on your hair, but its doable with multiple use. Side note: The two pictures were my hair before and after.

I have never bleached my own hair before dyeing it. I usually go to a salon, but poor times and lack of funds call for desperate measures. I watched a thousand YouTube videos on how to bleach my growth before settling on this PurePlex Cream bleach. Good reviews, so I went for it! So glad I chose this one. I bought two boxes, because I had about 7-8 inches of regrowth/virgin hair. I needed two boxes, so just FYI. I followed the directions after practicing sectioning and “painting” my hair before I mixed the product and went for it (recommended). It worked PERFECTLY. I loved the cream consistency because it allowed me to make sure I covered ALL of my hair that I needed to. I went from a dark brown to light gold in 30 minutes. No burning, no missed spots (again, practice, use alligator clips, pick combs and use TWO mirrors). I used about 1 and a half boxes for all my regrowth. See first photo. Second photo is after dyeing it. This bleach formula has a keratin/bond builder you add, so my hair was in excellent shape immediately after. I was able to dye it right away. Dark-ish neon magenta it is!! For now… I will absolutely buy this again and be using this instead of going to the salon from now on. And not waiting so long, I don’t want 8 inch roots again! 😅 Comes with gloves, a small “painting/sectioning” brush, and conditioner. Make sure you’ve got a plastic mixing bowl and probably a couple more (wider and stronger) dyeing brushes. A+, will buy again and recommend.

I have never attempted to lighten my hair at home alone before. I appreciated that this product included very detailed instructions. I strongly recommend reading them at least twice before starting to do anything as was suggested at the beginning of the instructions. I personally read them several times before attempting and consulted them several times through the process. I wasn't 100% sure what I was doing. Yet my hair ended up the color I wanted it to be, or at least pretty close. I was trying for silver. My natural hair is long, a salt and pepper that was dyed with a no-peroxide blue color product over and over for years, then left to fade for the last about 1.5 years. The toner I used (from some other brand) after bleaching gave a bit more violet tint to the hair at my roots than I wanted. I don't think it was because of the bleach, though. Once my hair was all dry, it looked pretty much silver with a sort of violetish cast. The most important thing to me is that I did not fry my hair with this experiment. I'm over 50 and it's thiner than it used to be. Its default state is long, fine and frágile to begin with. It seems to be not any worse off at all for having bleached it. Make no mistake, these are harsh chemicals. Handle with care. I got a headache. Use in a well ventilated area. I would use this product again if I ever decide to bleach my hair at home again. The kit included everything you need including cap, gloves, applicator brush, and plastic tub to mix it up. It was kinder to my hair than expected, and gave the results I wanted, despite my lack of experience. Definitely would recommend.
