Low Sodium 3% and Dissolves in Cold Water High Protein 30G
LOW SODIUM only 3%. High in protein 30G. It dissolves in cold water fine with stirring with spoon. No sugars added so it has a green pea taste but is not bitter. Did not find the drink any more gritty then other powders I have purchased. At 2.7 lbs. it will be a long time before my next purchase. I think it is a good value. No clumping if you mix with spoon. Contains all essential amino acids and BCAA's.

Good quality, price, specs, but needs help with taste: Add cinnamon!
Probably works great! Hard to tell yet. It doesn't taste very good at all on its own, so I recommend adding a bit of Ceylon cinnamon power. It helps with that taste significantly! The specs of this product are pretty good compared to other comparable products-- such as Orgain. I'll stick with this one since it's also priced very well based on the cost per gram/serving.

Very good excellent product
This is really good pea protein powder. High quality! I used the Now brand for years, but this one is far better in many ways. Low sodium and mixes easily and better. No clumping as the Now brand. Also better taste, content off other ingredients and most importantly better results. I use less in my daily breakfast smoothies than I had to with Now brand with even better results โฆit really makes a difference for me. Easier to digest and less or no bloating. I mix it with Metagenics Ultra Clear Ph that I order from the company directly as Amazon stoped to vary this brand long ago. I mix both in my Viramix with yogurt, chia seeds, almond granola , banana and strawberries, some purified water. Best healthy breakfast everโฆ all approved by my doctors too. It works great and it is very healthy combination. It is high in price than it should be though. I highly recommend it anyway. Hope my recipe helps. Give it a try. You will not regret it. Iโm reordering it again.

Decent Pea Protein option
Honest as possible. This is a great protein option if you have IBS, PCOS or any sort of gastric issue. I have both and gastritis. So far I haven't had any flare ups or any push back from the powder, but I will say it may just be my tolerance as other protein powders gave me really bad acne and IBS flare ups in the first go. It's extremely filling for smoothies, and keeps me filled up for quite some time after having it, which is what you want for PCOS weightloss.Downside:The texture is extremely grainy and the taste is very prominent. It would be advised to make this with baked goods if you don't like grainy textures or slight off tastes when drinking something. I can tolerate it enough to have it in my smoothies every day.Overall, a great protein supplement if you can't reach daily goals and good for any body with a sensitive gut or dairy intolerance. For the cost, serving size and grams of protein you are getting, this is worth the buy.

High Protein! Low Sodium! Affordable!
This is my first experience with a โPeaโ protein, so I am not able to compare it to any other Pea protein brands.I was looking for an affordable, low sodium, vegan/non dairy, high protein powder, with minimal ingredients, which is why I went with this one. This brand has only (1) ingredient, the highest protein, and the lowest sodium that I was able to find.Although it has no added flavoring, the natural flavor has an earthy hint of sweet pea, which is not overbearing. It is a bit gritty, but in a โmicroโ gritty way. Difficult to explain so I hope that helps. The protein does dissolve well, even in cold water. However, it does settle quickly. In cold liquid, or hot liquid, it will settle quickly. When mixed in food or smoothies it blends well.If you are the type to be able to chug it down quickly before it settles, you will be fine. If you are the type that doesnโt mind stirring it a few times, you will be fine. For most, I would imagine that, this is a protein that would be best in a blended smoothie, or mixed in with food.I do put it in my hot coffee in the morning however, I have to keep the spoon in my coffee to keep stirring it due to the settling of the protein. Same with a cold drink.I mixed this protein with oats, honey, and peanut butter. Then put it in a bowl. I keep it covered in the fridge. A few bites help with sweet cravings. Itโs delicious!I will be purchasing again on subscription!

May or may not work for you; otherwise good
My husband is on a low residue diet during cancer radiation treatment. I was hoping I could use this in a smoothie as a protein supplement. However, it seems to be a bit too grainy for his situation.I am using it in my smoothies instead. I like that the container gives a break of all the amino acids contained in the product. It has a bit of a pea flavor, but not too strong. It does have a grainy texture, not like my usual plant protein powder which is very smooth. I don't think I will purchase this again though it seems to be a good product.

Highly recommend this organic pea protein! You'll get used to the flavor quickly
An incredible source of all-natural, organic, GMO-free, vegan, unflavored, vegetable (yellow pea) protein with no added ingredients whatsoever (hence the word "solo" on the top of the label). I think "Solo" should be removed from the title because it makes people think that's the name of the company when this product is actually made by Folona, not a company called "Solo." The first few times I used this product I struggled with the flavor, even gagged the first time I drank it, but after a few times using it I quickly got accustomed to the flavor and texture. It will clump and be overly thick unless properly mixed because there are no declumping agents added (only ingredient is the pea protein). I used a milk frother designed for lattes and cappuccinos, though a blender would also work.I appreciate that this protein powder is from peas grown in Canada rather than the United States. 99% of farms in the US use dangerous, non-organic, toxic herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers as well as other nasty chemicals. Only ~1% of farmland is the US is organic, a frighteningly low figure, that can be increased by only buying organic foods โ demand increases the availability of organic foods and reduces the area of non-organic farmland.RoundUp (glyphosate) has an insanely long half-life rendering it effectively non-biodegradable and one of the "forever chemicals" to avoid at all costs. Any farmers using non-organic farmland today who want to switch to organic won't be able to effectively do so for years, if ever, because of the glyphosate content, and other chemicals, in the soil. Indoor cultivation and hydroponics are ways US-grown food/plants can avoid the toxic/forever chemicals in the soil. I prefer buying food grown in European countries (glyphosate has been outlawed in most of the EU for years) or Canada where I believe glyphosate is used less frequently and therefore I hope there is much less glyphosate in the soil and thus less in this product.I'm amazed at the amount of protein per serving (30 grams!) for only two scoops of powder. The size of the container is great because it's actually nearly full so very little wasted space which I appreciate. I also like that this product has a significant amount of iron (one serving has 55% of the RDA) which is difficult for me, as a vegetarian, to get enough of in my diet everyday.Compared to the Terrasoul brand organic GMO-free pea protein powder, I strongly prefer this Folona brand powder in terms of price, consistency, and taste. I will definitely buy this product again. I'm very happy to have found a vegan/vegetarian-friendly source of protein. I also love the fact that the amino acid breakdown is listed on the label indicating exactly how much, in grams, there is of every essential and non-essential amino acid. Very helpful for those who track their calories and nutrient intake.

More palatable than other pea protein and among the least expensive.
Pea protein is derived from finely ground yellow peas. The least expensive products have particles that settle out of most drinks. I have given up on those. This product is finer ground and further refined. The particles stay in suspension, and one can usually consume a drink before they settle enough to be a problem. This product is almost white with a slight yellow cast. It has no unusual taste or odor so it can be added to almost any drink. Now some inconvenient truth.Every wanna-be athlete assumes that protein supplements magically convert themselves into muscle. That is partly true, but one can only store so much. Fast-digesting shakes overpower muscles and are largely wasted. People in the First World already consume 1.2-1.6 grams of protein per kg of body mass without even thinking about it and without supplements. It is rare that one works out enough for protein to be the limiting factor.Your kidneys degrade throughout life and almost everyone would be on dialysis if they lived long enough. With that said, vegetable supplements do not appear to do the same damage as animal products.Digested amino acids from protein stimulate muscles to store them. While protein can only be stored in muscle, it does not necessarily increase size or strength as workouts would. Beyond some point, muscles cannot utilize amino acids as rapidly as they were consumed and the excess turns first into glucose, like cheap starch would, and eventually into fat.Older folks, say older than 55 years do not sense the amino acids that are available for storage. They NEED more protein to trigger utilization even though some fraction their supplements would be wasted. The trigger comes from the amino acid leucine. Young folks are triggered enough by their normal diets. Besides being a vegetable protein, this manufacturer adds leucine to the powder. Even old folks won't need huge amounts of it.

Very nice and satisfying
Having tried numerous vegan protein powders, some good some not so good, this one is actually quite nice. In fact my family and I like it a lot. The flavour is pleasant, not offensive in any way.We use a healthy oat drink with little to no additives or semi skimmed milk for the main fluid. Then sometimes we add some greek yogurt, small amount of raw cacao powder, a small squeeze of maple syrup... sometimes... Even a shake of chilli flakes! Yum!It's satiating and the texture when mixed is lovely. It thinkens nicely in fluid and is not at all grainy. When some reviews criticise it that it still tastes of peas, it's very mild and subtle. But also it does have a nice taste. If you're not a fan of pea flavour, don't buy pea protein. At any rate this one is definitely on the mild subtle side. There may be better products out there in this range, and there certainly are much more expensive options, but this one is great!
