Wii U Pro Controller - White

I love this controller! The feel of it is great and the battery is amazing! The joysticks are both responsive and sturdy! The only thing that is a downside to this controller is just getting used to where the D-pad and buttons are located! I have played games on other consoles and Im used to positioning my fingers in other locations but its not such a big deal because ill get used to it and my hands are big enough that both my thumbs can rest comfortably on the joystick or the D pad and x,y,a,b buttons! Seems like people with smaller hands might have a harder time though especially with the Y and B buttons (which i even find annoying to position my hands to reach them comfortably!)But Overall isn't that big of a deal! I tried this controller with some Virtual Console games and it works great! but like I said it takes time to get used too! The only game that felt perfect with this controller to me was Super Metroid which ironically I never felt comfortable with the default button layout on any other controller including the Gamepad and the classic controller but for some reason it feels perfect with this pro controller! I haven't tried it on many other games but so far it seems very good! This is a controller for the Wii U so obviously it works with Wii U games and the Wii U virtual console only! People expecting a controller to play games for the original Wii need to get a classic controller then! This isn't a disappointment to me because I have both! Also if you are expecting to buy a controller made for a new console to play games on an old one that is just silly! Not many games support this controller right now so beware! Look up online to see what games support it before you make your purchase! Hopefully future games that come out allow more support for this controller! The new Super Smash Bros for sure will support it and Nintendo is going to update New Super Mario Bros U in the coming weeks to allow support for the controller as well! Its an official Nintendo Controller so Im sure they will support it on all their games!

Okay, dude...I can't stress this enough. This is literally the best controller on the market. Allow me to put this into perspective. The Playstation 3 controller is $60, is super uncomfortable because it's design is stuck in the 90's, last's maybe 12 hours of battery, and the buttons feel and durability is mediocre at best. The xbox controller comes slightly cheaper, usually around $40, contours better to the hands, has a better analog placement, but still has the kinda okay battery life and button feel/durability. The WiiU controller can be found cheaper than both (around $30 if you look in the right places), fits the hand even more perfectly, has amazing button feel and durability, the analog sticks are both placed in equally comfortable places, and it has a whopping 80 hour battery life. I purchased this thing, charged it once, and has been heavily used for over 3 weeks. no charge. This thing, with the Mayflash adapter, is single handedly the best controller on the market and I highly recommend it.

This controller is, in my opinion, far more comfortable than the one that comes with the system and the battery lasts much longer. In fact, I have only had to charge it once or twice since I've had it. The quality is good, but there are two screw holes which you may notice a bit when holding the controller. Also, there is no motion controls; why Nintendo didn't install that is a mystery to me because it upsets me when I play Mario 3d world and can't play the toad levels because you have to have the controller that comes with the system for those levels. Other than that, it's a step up from past controllers by Nintendo.

Does not sell actual Nintendo made controller. Barely works and is made of cheap plastic. DO NOT BUY AMAZON IGNORED MY COMPLAINT AND SO DID SELLER. GO TO BRICK AND MORTAR STORES, do not end up like me and a few others that I chose to ignore :(

I picked this up in anticipation of Super Smash Bros. eventual release, before we knew about the Gamecube adapter, and I have to say, I'm glad I won't have to end up using this for that game. The Wii U Pro is not a bad controller by any means, it just contains a couple of missteps and a generally un-special feel to it. To be clear, if you just need a solid controller to play traditional style games, this will work fine. Its main issue is the placement of the right stick and face buttons (ABXY). Traditionally, the right stick is in the lower position and the buttons are above, which is comfortable and appropriate for most games. But, I assume, in order to stay in line with the Wii U Gamepad's layout, both sticks are above. This works well enough on the Gamepad because of how they placed the buttons in relation to where you grip the controller, but on the Pro that's not the case. You have to somewhat awkwardly reach your thumb down pretty far to reach the further face buttons, which doesn't feel right, and certainly wouldn't cut it for a round of Smash Bros. The controller also just has a bit of a light feeling to it, and your opinion on that is probably a matter of taste. If you're used to a Playstation controller, it will probably feel right, but I like a little heft. The Pro also does not seem to charge when the Wii U is turned off, which is likely more a fault of the system's design, but it's worth knowing. Otherwise, the individual inputs all feel nice and have satisfying movement to them.

An excellent controller for playing all your coop games comfortably with another player. Battery life on the charge is absolutely exceptional for a gaming controller, lasting some 40+ hours on a single charge, which is beautiful. Personally slightly disappointed with the comfort of the controller which I found a bit lacking compared to the rave reviews calling it one of the most comfortable controllers ever made - it's not quite - but pretty flawless overall.

Der Controller - White liegt gut in der Hand und ist sehr ergonomisch geformt.Zum Kauf empfohlen Farbe weiss stört nicht, färbt nicht so schnell ein.

The build quality of this controller is great, and it arrived well-packaged and in great condition. I find this controller makes certain games easier to play (for example, Super Smash Brothers or Mario Kart) but that it makes other games much more difficult to play (for example, Super Mario). I also find the button layout on this controller to be frustrating at times due to the A/B/X/Y buttons being in different places than what I am used to (I am used to Xbox's controller configuration and it seems much more intuitive...Nintendo's placement of these buttons feels backwards to me, but perhaps they did this because they could not duplicate Xbox's arrangement of these buttons). I purchased the white version of this controller as it was about $10-15 cheaper than the black version (at the time, perhaps they cost the same amount now) and while the white matches the colour scheme of my console and other Wii/Wii U accessories, it also tends to look much dirtier after use. I rarely play games with dirty hands, but this controller is always noticeably more grungy-looking than any of my black Xbox controllers (which I've had for longer and have seen much more use) - the dirty-looking controller doesn't really bother me, but if you don't like the sound of that, maybe the black version would be best. One thing I will say about this controller is that it holds an awesome charge - I can use it for days, sometimes even weeks before I need to re-charge it (depending on how frequently I'm playing, of course). I'm sure this has been mentioned in other reviews, but this controller feels great in the hands - unlike a lot of the Wii/Wii U controller accessories, it actually feels good to use this thing. All in all, this is a great controller and adds some fun and comfort to a lot of Wii U games!
